When Santosh first spoke to Traya’s hair coach, Surya, his voice carried both fatigue and hope. “Hair fall? Sir, mera do hazar terah se ho raha hai,” he admitted. For more than a decade, Santosh has been battling constant hair fall, multiple health setbacks, and even two hair transplants — one of which failed to deliver the results he had hoped for.
The Long Journey of Struggles
Santosh’s hair fall story dates back to 2013, when he suffered from severe dengue. The illness caused heavy weight loss and drained his system of vital nutrients. Soon after, he also struggled with piles that caused bleeding, further weakening his body and creating nutritional deficiencies that directly impacted hair growth.
Over the years, he decided to take medical interventions. “Main do bar hair transplant hua hai mera,” he said. His first transplant in 2023 focused on the frontal hairline, while the second in 2024 targeted the crown. Unfortunately, the crown transplant didn’t succeed. “Upar wala sahi tarah se nahin hua, sir ji,” Santosh explained. Despite these efforts, his scalp remained visibly thin.
Adding to this was a recent surgery, just four months ago, for which he is still on one ongoing medication. His diet also played a role — he admitted eating non-vegetarian food two to three times a week, which often created excessive body heat, worsening his hair shedding.
The Emotional Impact
After trying so many solutions and facing repeated disappointments, Santosh’s expectations were modest. “Mera hair maintain hoga, to bhi chalega,” he told Surya. His words reflected the emotional weight of a decade-long struggle — a mix of reduced confidence, lowered expectations, yet still a flicker of hope.
Setting the Right Expectations
Surya, his hair coach, approached the situation with both empathy and honesty. He explained that after advanced treatments like transplants, regrowth cannot be guaranteed. However, Traya’s approach could still help Santosh in two vital ways:
- Reducing hair fall — targeting the root causes like past illness, nutritional gaps, and body heat.
- Improving density and thickness — ensuring his existing hair became stronger, healthier, and fuller-looking.
“Regrowth ki surety nahin de pate,” Surya clarified gently, “lekin maintain karane men ham apaki madad karenge.” For Santosh, even maintenance felt like a victory.
A Personalised Plan
Surya carefully reviewed Santosh’s history and then broke down a clear routine:
- Supplements:
- Hair Rush: 2 tablets after breakfast and 2 after dinner, to strengthen roots and reduce shedding.
- Hair Vitamin: 1 tablet after breakfast, to boost follicle health and density.
- Topical Treatments:
- Minoxidil: 1 ml applied twice daily (morning and night) on dry scalp. Surya warned him about initial shedding, explaining it as a positive sign of the treatment working.
- Scalp + Growth Oil Combo: The small Growth Oil bottle to be mixed fully into the Scalp Oil bottle. Apply twice a week, half an hour before shampoo.
- Cleansing:
- Defence Shampoo: 2–3 times a week to maintain scalp hygiene, or more often if sweat/dirt builds up.
Surya also emphasized lifestyle tweaks — following the diet plan available on Traya’s app, reducing excess non-veg intake to balance body heat, and keeping consistency in routine.
What Lies Ahead
Santosh now knows his path is about patience and discipline. The first 1–3 months will focus on reducing hair fall and improving scalp health. If progress is visible, he can continue long-term for better maintenance. With consistent use and guided support, his existing hair can regain strength, volume, and resilience.
Why Traya Works for Santosh
Unlike quick-fix solutions, Traya’s approach respects the complexity of hair fall. By addressing past illnesses, nutritional imbalances, and lifestyle habits, while combining modern treatments like minoxidil with Ayurvedic supplements, Traya creates a holistic path forward.
For Santosh, this is not just about regrowth — it’s about reclaiming control after years of struggle. And with the right support, even maintaining his current hair feels like a hopeful new beginning.
