In our research, while creating Traya, when we spoke to doctors we realised that most people that start hair loss treatment don’t finish the course to completion. And that is why they don’t see results. We wanted to make sure that we made it as easy as possible for our customers to adhere to the treatment so they can see the wonderful results that they expected to see when they started with the treatment.
So, how do we do it?
With Traya’s unique hair coach system.
So who is a Traya hair coach?
A hair coach is a doctor trained individual who acts as a personal guide for you throughout your treatment. Not only that they also act as a bridge between you and the doctors.
From the moment you start your treatment, they are there to help you understand your plan and stay on track.
Your hair coach explains everything in simple terms, so you know exactly what to do. They also help you build a routine that fits into your daily life, making it easier to follow.
Staying consistent is the key to seeing results, and that’s where your coach plays a big role. They check in with you regularly to track progress and make sure you don’t miss important steps in your plan.
If you face any side effects, have doubts, or need adjustments in your routine, your hair coach is there to guide you. And if needed, they can also connect you with Traya’s doctors for expert advice.
With a Traya Hair Coach by your side, you’re never alone in this journey. They make sure you get the right support at every step, so you can focus on regrowing healthy hair.
So, when do you get introduced to them?
Once you place your order, you are assigned your hair coach. The hair coach will then call you and take comprehensive details from you about your dietary habits, lifestyle habits, health and hair history.
So what are the things you should mention to your hair coach during this call?
The purpose of this information is to create a health history file for you which will be used by the doctors to write your prescription. So, it is important to mention the timeline of your hair loss, any history of diseases, surgeries, injuries or medication, health conditions you presently have and medication you are on currently, your allergies, your dietary and lifestyle habits and finally your last blood test results. After this call, they will assign your case to the three doctors who will write your prescription and create your diet plan - a dermatologist, an Ayurvedic doctor and a nutritionist. Shortly after this, they will send you a diet plan
How are they going to help you in your treatment?
As we said, they are your personal guide on the treatment. And that starts as soon as your receive the treatment. You can schedule a call with them at a time convenient to you. This call is known as the prescription call. In this call, they will help you understand your prescription and explain how and when to use the medication prescribed for you by the doctor. You can also use this call to ask them about the diet plan that they would have already shared with you.
What are the other benefits of having a hair coach?
They will guide you with doctor approved tips and suggestions to transition your diet and lifestyle in a way that will improve your overall health and hair health. The hair coaches will also share a link with you, which you can use to reach out to them any time you have any questions during the treatment. They will be there for you through any anxious feelings or thoughts that you might have during your hair loss treatment journey. Not only that they will also ensure that you are consistent with the course.
How Hair Coaches Make a Real Difference
Traya’s data from over 3,00,000 plans shows one clear pattern where users who stay connected with their hair coach see better results.
Here’s what we found:
-
40% better adherence: Following the plan consistently leads to faster, visible improvements.
-
3X higher satisfaction: Users who engage with their coach feel more confident and supported throughout the process.
-
Fewer mid-treatment drop-offs: When challenges arise, having a coach helps users stay committed instead of giving up too soon.
Your hair coach ensures that you don’t just start strong but also stay on track to see the best possible results.
What Your Coach Isn’t (But Many Think They Are)
There are some common misconceptions about Traya Hair Coaches. Let’s clear them up:
-
Not just a WhatsApp bot: Traya coaches are real, trained professionals who understand hair loss and the science behind regrowth.
-
Not a replacement for doctors: They work with Traya’s doctors, offering guidance but never prescribing treatments.
-
Not just for tech support: More than just reminders, they help with wellness advice, habit-building, and making your routine easier.
Is the hair coach only there for the first month?
No. Your treatment with Traya for hair loss will be for 5 months to a year depending on your hair loss condition and stage. So, at the end of each month, your hair coach will remind you to refill the prescription after understanding your progress for the last month. They will send you a link to place an order for the products required for that month. They will also ask you for a scalp image, which will be uploaded to your profile to help track your progress.
So basically, all those times that you start a new course of medication and are filled with questions, anxiety and just are feeling worried about results and you don't know who to talk to about it. Well, worry no more. The hair coach team at Traya is always here for you. They will make sure you are consistent with your treatment so that you are able to see the best results from your hair loss treatment.
