The moment he stopped trusting his mirror
“I used to have really thick, dense hair,” he said quietly. “Ab to bas patle ho gaye….”
Let’s call him Raj. In his early 40s from Gorakhpur, Raj had been colouring his hair for almost 15 years. At first it was about covering greys, then it became a habit. Somewhere along the way, that familiar fullness on his scalp started to shrink.

But long-term maintenance, especially with something like minoxidil, is usually needed to keep those gains stable.
Instead of promising a cure, she offered a plan: use the Ayurvedic and nutritional products for 5–8 months as advised. After that, if he wants to maintain his hairline and density, he can continue topical support like minoxidil “jab tak aap apne hairs ko manage aur maintain karna chahein.”
That honesty built trust where blind belief never could.
A structured journey instead of random experiments
Once Raj understood the why, Amita walked him through the how. His kit wasn’t just a bottle of serum; it was a combined protocol from dermatology, Ayurveda, and nutrition.
For external care, he received Scalp Oil with a Growth Therapy booster shot and Defence Shampoo. The Scalp Oil is a coconut-oil base enriched through sneha pak dravya with herbs like amla and bhringraj. It is meant to be massaged in twice a week, left for at least thirty minutes, then washed off with the gentle, sulphate-free Defence Shampoo. This ritual supports scalp health, improves blood circulation, and keeps follicles hydrated and nourished without harsh chemicals.
The key regrowth engine in his plan is Minoxidil 5% (with Procapil and Finasteride as per his kit), to be used 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml at night directly on visible scalp. Amita prepared him for the one thing that scares most people: initial shedding. She explained that minoxidil may speed up the shedding of weak, old hairs in the first few weeks. “Jo bhi kamzor ya purane baal hain, woh girenge. Gradually by time dheere-dheere reduce ho jaayega,” she reassured him, so he wouldn’t panic and quit just when the medicine started working.
Internally, his plan focused on correcting the terrain that had allowed hair loss to accelerate over the years.
He was put on Hair Ras, a pitta-balancing Ayurvedic formulation that nourishes asthi dhatu (the bone and hair-supporting tissue), improves blood circulation to hair follicles, and helps with tissue nourishment. Over 6–8 months, Hair Ras acts somewhat like a “Chyawanprash for hair”, working beneath the surface while the topical actives do their job on the scalp.
Alongside this, Health Tatva supports his metabolism and digestion. Since Raj didn’t have IBS or ulcers but likely had a long history of not-so-ideal diet during his working years, improving gut absorption was key. The coach explained how digestion and hair fall connection matters: if his gut is sluggish or nutrients aren’t well absorbed, even a good diet won’t fully reach the follicles. Health Tatva acts as a digestive stimulant, improving nutrient absorption, energy levels, and indirectly supporting hair growth.
He also received Traya Hair Vitamin, which covers nutritional gaps with biotin, vitamins, minerals and natural DHT blockers like pumpkin seed extract and bhringraj. While not a medicine for baldness on its own, it ensures that nutritional deficiency is not silently fuelling his hair fall due to anemia or related issues over time.
Because Raj is on daily blood pressure medication, Amita gave a very specific safety instruction: keep at least a 5‑minute gap between his BP tablet and Traya supplements whenever taken together. Tiny details like this made the protocol feel medically thought through, not casual.
From doubt to disciplined hope
What changed on this single call was not his hairline; it was his mindset.
At the start he openly said he didn’t have a strong belief that any product could truly help hair growth. By the end, his questions had shifted from “kya ye work karega?” to “kitni der use karna hoga?” and “kaise use karna hai?”
