Neeraj’s Hair Fall Plan: From Confusion to Consistency

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Problem: Receding hairline, visible scalp at the crown, and ongoing hair fall for around five years - plus recurring dandruff.
  • Root causes discussed: Genetic predisposition, dandruff flare-ups (especially in winters), and occasional gas/acidity/bloating that can affect internal balance.
  • What he used: Hair Vitamin, Hair Ras, Anti-dandruff Shampoo, Scalp Oil mixed with the Dandruff Therapy booster shot, and Minoxidil (ordered separately for regrowth/maintenance).
  • Timeline he was guided on: 1–3 months for dandruff and internal health support, 4–6 months for visible reduction in hair fall and better scalp health, 7–8 months for crown-area regrowth.
  • Outcome he was working toward: Better control on shedding, healthier scalp, and visible improvement at the crown - with the goal of not letting the hairline worsen.

“I have the products now… but I have no idea how to use them.”

That was Neeraj’s first reaction when his Traya box finally arrived later than expected. Not panic exactly - more like that familiar confusion that hits when you want to do something about your hair, but you don’t want to mess it up.

Neeraj is an athlete who plays football, and he’d been watching his hair change for years: the front thinning out, the hairline slowly going back, and the crown beginning to show more scalp than he liked. The part that made him act wasn’t a single dramatic moment. It was a long, quiet realization - “It’s been happening every year,” he said - until friends around him started getting results and he thought, “Okay, I should try too.”

When hair fall starts feeling “normal”

Neeraj told his coach that hair fall runs in the family - “My father… genetics.” Add to that a physically active routine, and hair fall can start to feel like background noise. You keep going. You wash your hair, you see flakes again in a few days, you keep moving.

But over time, he noticed the texture shift too. The back felt thicker; the front had become “thin… very soft.” That’s the thing about progressive hair thinning - it doesn’t just change how you look, it changes how your hair behaves in your hands.

And this was his first real attempt at doing something about it. “I haven’t used any treatment for hair before,” he admitted.

The root causes hiding in plain sight

Neeraj’s story had layers - some obvious, some easy to ignore.

Genetics was one part, but his coach also zoomed in on scalp health. Neeraj had dandruff that returned within “two to three days” after shampooing, and it got heavier if he went a week without washing. That kind of recurring flaking and itch can create a constant cycle of irritation, and over time it can contribute to dandruff and dry scalp hair loss - especially when you’re already predisposed to thinning.

There was also an internal-health thread: Neeraj mentioned occasional “gas, acidity, bloating.” His coach nudged him toward the idea that gut comfort isn’t just about digestion - it often affects how consistently your body absorbs what it needs. That’s the digestion and hair fall connection many people overlook until a coach points it out in everyday language: if your system feels heavy, inflamed, or unsettled, your hair doesn’t always get “fed” the way you think it does.

Q: Does dandruff actually cause hair fall?

A: Dandruff itself doesn’t “pull hair out,” but persistent dandruff can lead to itching, inflammation, and scalp build-up. When you keep scratching or the scalp stays irritated, hair fall can increase and hair health can suffer.

The vulnerable questions that made this personal

Neeraj’s biggest worry wasn’t side effects or complicated science. It was simpler and more relatable: “These six products… what time should I use what? I don’t have an idea.”

He also needed reassurance that he could start immediately. He asked if he could use the shampoo that day, and whether he could start the supplements right away. Even small doubts like “Hair Vitamin at night, right?” mattered - because consistency falls apart when instructions feel unclear.

This is where his call stopped being a transaction and started becoming a personalized hair treatment plan. He wasn’t just being told what’s in the box - he was being coached into a routine he could actually follow.

The turning point: a coach who made it feel doable

Instead of overwhelming him, the coach created a clear road map and set expectations honestly.

She acknowledged the reality of genetic hair fall: it’s chronic, it may not become “100% stop,” but it can be controlled and supported with regularity. She was equally direct about the hairline - visible improvement can be difficult, but the goal is to prevent it from getting worse, while targeting regrowth where it’s more likely: the crown area.

Then she laid out a timeline Neeraj could hold onto: focus on dandruff and internal health first, then expect hair fall control, and later watch for crown regrowth.

She also asked him to upload scalp photos of the hairline and crown so future coaches could track change - another quiet detail that makes people feel supported, not left alone after buying a kit.

What Neeraj’s Traya routine looked like

Neeraj’s kit and add-ons were selected around three things: internal nourishment, scalp hygiene, and targeted regrowth support.

He was guided to take Hair Vitamin once daily after breakfast. This supports nutritional gaps that often show up as thinning and poor hair quality.

He was also told to take Hair Ras - two tablets after breakfast and two after dinner. From an Ayurvedic lens, Hair Ras is positioned to balance pitta and support nourishment from within, including circulation support to hair follicles and overall hair quality.

For dandruff control, he was told to use the Anti-dandruff Shampoo two to three times a week. This shampoo contains Ketoconazole 2%, which is used to reduce dandruff by addressing fungal overgrowth and helping soothe inflammation.

For oiling, he was guided to mix the small Dandruff Therapy booster oil into the larger Scalp Oil bottle and apply it twice a week, keeping it on for at least 30 minutes before washing. Scalp oiling in Ayurveda (shiroabhyanga) is often used to support calm and circulation to the follicles, which matters when stress, irritation, and recovery are part of the picture.

One important correction the coach made: the Anti-dandruff Night Lotion in his kit wasn’t needed because his dandruff wasn’t heavy enough. She advised him not to open it and to return it.

Finally, because Neeraj’s goal included regrowth and maintenance - especially at the crown - the coach recommended Minoxidil and placed the order for him. She explained a key point many people fear: initial shedding can happen in the first few weeks, and it can be a “positive sign” of the cycle shifting.

Resolution: not just a kit - an 8-month mindset

Neeraj ended the call sounding lighter. The confusion was gone. He knew what to do “from today,” and he had a clear expectation of what changes might show up first.

The real win wasn’t instant regrowth (that takes time). It was control - over the routine, over the uncertainty, and over the feeling that hair fall was something he just had to accept because it was “genetic.”

He was ready to upload his scalp photos, begin treatment right away, and stay connected with a follow-up call in 15 days. For someone seeing slow thinning over five years, that structure can be the difference between trying something once - and actually sticking with it long enough to see change.
