Neeraj’s 8-Month Plan to Tackle Hair Fall

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Problem: Gradual hair fall for 2–3 years, with a visible hairline concern.
  • Root causes discussed: Lifestyle, nutrition, and the digestion and hair fall connection that can quietly weaken hair over time.
  • What he used: Defence Shampoo, Minoxidil (1 ml morning + 1 ml night), Scalp Oil mixed with Growth Therapy booster, and the supplements Hair Ras + Gutt Shuddhi.
  • Timeline shared by the coach: Months 1–3 focus on internal support, months 4–6 visible reduction in hair fall, months 7–8 baby hair and density improvements.
  • Outcome focus: Consistency and maintenance - especially for the hairline, where the coach set realistic expectations while aiming to prevent further worsening.

“Bas ek hi sawaal hai… baal aa jaayenge?”

When Neeraj, a working professional from a small town in central India, picked up the call, he didn’t sound dramatic or panicked. He sounded practical. His Traya kit had arrived, and he just wanted one thing cleared up.

“Use kaise karna hai…?” he asked, pausing only to add the question that had been sitting at the back of his mind for years: “Bas ek sawaal hai - baal aa jaayenge?”

Because this wasn’t sudden hair fall. This was slow, steady, almost sneaky.

“Do-teen saal ho gaye… dheere dheere ho raha hai,” he told his hair coach, Deepali.

No big event. No one obvious trigger. Just a hairline that had started to move back, and a daily discomfort of not knowing what would actually help.

The slow hair fall that becomes “normal” until it doesn’t

Neeraj hadn’t tried any formal treatment before. No minoxidil, no clinic visits, no elaborate routines. “Normally… oil lagate hain,” he said - like most of us do when hair starts acting up.

But he also had the kind of hair concern that’s hard to ignore once you see it in a mirror: the hairline.

Deepali brought it up gently, based on what she saw in his scalp image: his hairline had receded. And she didn’t sell him a fantasy.

She said it clearly: hairline regrowth can be difficult. Still, she reassured him that the goal was to protect what he had and stay consistent, because in some cases regrowth is seen. More importantly, she made him feel like he wasn’t “late,” or “beyond help,” just because it had been 2–3 years.

What his coach thought was really going on

When asked about health concerns - gas, acidity, asthma, low BP - Neeraj said no. He also clarified something else quickly: “Dandruff… hai hi nahin.”

So what was left?

Deepali explained it in the simplest Traya way: for him, the hair fall wasn’t just about hair. It was about the basics underneath - nutrition, lifestyle, and digestion. That’s where a personalized hair treatment plan becomes different from random product-hopping. Instead of chasing one magic bottle, you start supporting the system that feeds the follicle.

When digestion is sluggish or inconsistent, the nutrients you eat don’t always translate into nourishment your body can use effectively. Over time, hair follicles can end up under-supported, and hair can start thinning and shedding gradually - exactly the “dheere dheere” pattern Neeraj described.

Can digestion really affect hair fall?

Yes. Your metabolism and gut absorption influence how nutrients reach the hair follicles. When absorption is compromised, follicles can stay undernourished - showing up as gradual thinning and persistent shedding.

The doubts that showed up as product questions

Neeraj’s vulnerability didn’t come as emotional lines. It came as practical confusion - exactly what most people feel when a kit arrives with multiple products.

He asked about the “different shampoo,” about the oils, and most importantly, how to use minoxidil.

“Minoxidil… thoda hi lagana hai raat ko?” he asked.

Deepali didn’t overwhelm him. She gave him a routine he could actually follow.

She also prepared him for something that scares almost everyone: early shedding. She told him that in the first few weeks, hair fall can increase - and that it can be normal.

Then she used an image he’d instantly understand: like a tree shedding old leaves so new leaves can come.

That one analogy matters, because it turns fear into meaning. It makes people stay consistent instead of quitting in week two.

Turning the kit into a routine he could stick to

The real turning point in Neeraj’s call wasn’t a diagnosis. It was clarity.

Deepali broke the kit down into simple, repeatable actions:

He could use the Defence Shampoo two to three times a week, and even daily if he washed daily, since it’s sulphate-free and paraben-free.

For regrowth support, he’d apply Minoxidil at 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml at night, focusing on the visible scalp and not rubbing aggressively - just applying gently with the dropper.

Then came the oils: Scalp Oil mixed with the Growth Therapy booster. He’d mix both bottles into the larger Scalp Oil bottle, apply it twice a week, and wash it off after about 30 minutes.

And for internal support, his kit included Hair Ras and Gutt Shuddhi.

Hair Ras, as per Traya’s Ayurvedic logic, supports hair health from within by working on pitta balance and nourishing deeper tissues (including asthi dhatu). It’s positioned as daily natural hair nourishment - often described as “Chyavanprash for the hair.”

Gutt Shuddhi supports gut health and detox, especially when constipation or gut motility issues play a role. Deepali explained it in Neeraj’s language too: it helps with constipation relief and gut cleansing support, which can matter when the body isn’t clearing well.

Neeraj repeated the doses back to confirm - “Do subah, do raat mein” - because when someone repeats it, you know they’re ready to try.

The timeline that made him exhale

He asked the most natural question after hearing “8 months”: “Ath mahine tak continue karna hai?”

Deepali explained what those months are for, so it didn’t feel endless:

In months 1–3, internal support improves first. In months 4–6, the visible reduction in hair fall starts. And by months 7–8, “baby hair” and density become the focus.

It wasn’t a dramatic promise. It was a mapped-out journey. For someone who’d been watching hair fall slowly for years, that structure is often the first real relief.

Resolution: not “perfect hair,” but a plan he could trust

By the end of the call, Neeraj had no more doubts.

He confirmed the key points himself: yes, he could use the Defence Shampoo regularly; yes, the oils needed to be mixed; yes, minoxidil was 1 ml morning and 1 ml night.

And then came the part Traya leans on heavily - consistency.

Deepali warned him that the routine might feel tough in the beginning, but once it became habit, it would feel easy. If he missed a day, he didn’t have to quit - just restart the next day.

She even helped him set up app features like reminders and the in-app dietitian, because support isn’t only about products - it’s about making sure the plan survives real life.

Neeraj scheduled a follow-up call for the morning, because he wanted to do this properly.

Not with panic. With patience.
