“Mere bal grey bahut hain”: Where His Journey Really Began
For Karan, a 35-year-old engineer from Nagpur, the problem wasn’t just hair fall. When the Traya coach asked if there was anything else he was worried about, he blurted out the thing that had been bothering him quietly for months: “Mere bal grey bahut hain.”
He’d filled the online hair test with details about hair fall, but on the call his anxiety about greying finally surfaced. The coach listened, reassured him that already grey strands can’t turn black again, but explained that with the right nutrients and routine, further greying could be delayed and overall hair health could be improved.
Underneath that single line about “grey hair” was a familiar story: hair fall, visible thinning, dry scalp, and the fear that things might only get worse.
Understanding What Was Really Causing His Hair Fall
As the coach walked him through his test results, she didn’t just talk about “hair fall” in isolation. She broke it down into layers.
First was scalp health. His scalp tended to be on the drier side, but he also had dandruff issues. The coach explained that when the scalp is irritated or flaky, the build-up blocks proper blood flow and nutrient delivery to the follicles. Over time, that poor scalp environment triggers hair fall and can worsen density.
Then came the internal side. She pointed out that hair roots depend on nutrition, metabolism, and hormones. That’s why his plan included oral supplements, not just topical products. Health Tatva was there to improve digestion and absorption so that whatever he ate actually reached his follicles; Hair Vitamin was meant to fill nutritional gaps and provide natural DHT blockers; Thyro Santulan was added because his profile suggested sluggish metabolism and possible thyroid-related imbalance that can quietly slow growth and increase shedding.
She told him very clearly that the goal wasn’t just to stop hair on his pillow, it was to fix the “system” that was feeding his hair.
Can poor digestion really lead to more hair fall?
The coach explained that when digestion is weak, the body struggles to absorb vitamins, minerals, and even iron properly. Over time this can show up as dull skin, fatigue, and increased shedding. In Ayurveda and modern nutrition both, the digestion and hair fall connection is real: if the gut is off, the hair is often one of the first places you see the impact.
The Plan: How His Coach Built a Routine He Could Actually Follow
Once Karan understood the “why,” they moved to the “how.”
The coach divided his plan into two simple buckets in his own words: “daily use” and “wash day.”
On wash days, which he already did twice a week, she asked him to prep his scalp the night before. He would apply the Anti-dandruff Night Lotion across his entire scalp and leave it overnight to work on the fungal and flaky component that was suffocating his follicles.
The next day, on top of that, he’d oil his scalp with Traya’s Scalp Oil mixed with the dandruff therapy booster shot. She told him to pour the small booster bottle into the larger scalp oil, then massage that mix gently into his scalp and leave it for about thirty minutes. This combination would nourish the follicles, improve blood circulation, and help keep dandruff in check at the same time.
Then came Defence Shampoo to clean away build-up without harsh sulphates, followed by Defence Conditioner only on the hair lengths, never on the scalp. She repeated that part twice: conditioner only on the lengths, a few minutes, then rinse.
Daily, he had his internal routine. After breakfast, he’d take one Hair Vitamin, two Thyro Santulan tablets and one Health Tatva. After dinner, he’d repeat Health Tatva and Thyro Santulan as advised. She stressed that these should always be taken after food for better absorption and to keep the stomach comfortable.
He admitted he often skipped breakfast. She calmly adjusted: if that happened, he could shift the morning dose to after lunch. If he missed an entire day, he shouldn’t double up, just continue as usual from the next day.
It was practical, human, and it made the whole thing feel doable.
The Doubts, the Shedding, and the Honest Conversation
After explaining everything, she paused and asked, “Abhi tak kisi bhi specific product ke regarding koi doubt to nahin hai?” He said no, but later, when she moved to results and timelines, his unspoken fear surfaced: what if things got worse before they got better?
She didn’t hide it. She explained that in the first two months, the focus would be on improving scalp health and preparing the follicles for treatment. From the second month onwards, a serum would be added to his kit to help remove weak, miniaturised strands and support stronger ones.
Then she said something most people never hear clearly: in the second and the beginning of the third month, he might notice his hair fall increase. “Ye completely normal hai. It’s a sign ki treatment is working.” The weak strands that were already detached at the root would fall so that new, stronger hair could take their place. “Aj nahin to kal ye baal girne hi wale the,” she said simply. “Traya bas process fast kar deta hai.”
He listened quietly as she compared it to trees shedding old leaves so that new ones could grow. That one image stayed with him.
From the fourth month, she said, visible reduction in hair fall usually begins. That’s why Traya insists on the “four kit rule” - meaningful, long-lasting change needs at least that much time. By the fifth month, he’d likely see not just reduced shedding but better volume, less visible scalp, and improved quality.
How Traya Products Supported His Specific Concerns
Throughout the call, she matched each concern with a precise solution, without overwhelming him with jargon.
For his dandruff and dry scalp hair loss, the Anti-dandruff Night Lotion with ketoconazole targeted the fungus and inflammation that were feeding the flakes. The Scalp Oil with dandruff therapy booster then soothed, nourished, and stimulated blood circulation at the roots.
Health Tatva worked inside his system as a digestive stimulant, improving metabolism and nutrient absorption so his body could actually use the vitamins and minerals he was consuming. Hair Vitamin acted like a non-sugary multivitamin for hair, with biotin, vitamins, minerals, and natural DHT blockers like pumpkin seed extract and bhringraj to support stronger, thicker strands. Thyro Santulan was there to support thyroid function and metabolic balance, essential for stable hair growth and energy.
Together, they didn’t just chase symptoms; they rebuilt the foundation.
Lifestyle Guidance and Small But Important Choices
Right at the end, he asked something that had been on his mind: with so many grey strands, could he still apply hair colour?
The coach didn’t scold him or say a flat no. She suggested he try to avoid both colours and harsh chemical treatments as much as possible because they can damage hair quality and sometimes trigger extra fall. If he really had to colour, she advised keeping the dye away from the scalp, applying it more on the lengths and washing it out thoroughly before using any Traya topicals on a clean, dry scalp.
She also nudged him gently toward the app: the daily “log-in-on” feature where he could track his supplement use and earn coins towards discounts, and a customised diet plan he could follow at least 30–50%. She reminded him that for some people, especially those at risk of iron deficiency hair fall recovery, diet and compliance are as important as the tablets themselves.
Most importantly, she promised follow-up calls, check-ins, and an open line if any concern came up.
The Resolution: From Confused to Consistent
By the end of the conversation, the biggest shift wasn’t in Karan’s scalp yet - that would take months - but in his mindset.
He now knew exactly what he had to do on wash days, what to take daily, why his hair might shed more in month two, and when he could realistically expect to see less hair fall and better density. He also understood that his journey was not just about products, but about healing his scalp, his digestion, and his metabolism together.
He ended the call saying he’d start that very night. The coach wished him luck, reminded him that consistency from his side and guidance from theirs had to go hand in hand, and set up a follow-up within fifteen days.
It wasn’t a miracle fix. It was a clear path. And for someone who’d been quietly watching more hair on the floor and more grey in the mirror, that clarity was the first real sign of change.
