Rohit’s 8-Month Plan to Tackle Hair Fall & Winter Dandruff

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Rohit’s key problem: hair fall that had noticeably increased over the last 5–6 months, along with seasonal dandruff and mild itching in winter.
  • Root causes addressed: dandruff flare-ups in cold weather and the need to strengthen overall internal support for hair health with a consistent routine.
  • What he used: Hair Ras tablets, Anti-dandruff Night Lotion, Scalp Oil mixed with Dandruff Therapy (booster oil), and Anti-dandruff Shampoo; later plan to switch to Minoxidil serum once dandruff is under control.
  • Timeline shared by the coach: first 3 months focus on dandruff + internal health; hair fall reduction expected around 4–6 months; continued improvements up to 8 months.
  • Outcome/goal: a healthier scalp first, then a stronger path toward hair growth - with a realistic conversation about hairline regrowth being tougher, but preventing it from getting worse.

“Dawai deliver ho gayi hai… par khaani kaise?”

Rohit, a working professional from North India, wasn’t calling Traya because he wanted a long discussion on hair science. He had a much more immediate, relatable problem: the kit had been delivered, and he simply needed clarity.

“Dawai deliver ho chuki hai, lekin khaen kaise?” he asked.

Behind that simple question sat a bigger worry he didn’t dramatize, but clearly felt: his hair fall had been “paanch chhah mahine se” getting worse. Earlier, it hadn’t been like this. Now it was.

And then there was the winter problem - one he brushed off as normal, but still mentioned right away.

“Dandruff nahin hai… bas sardi ke mausam mein thoda sa aa jaata hai,” he said, explaining how it shows up more when he scratches and it gets caught in his nails.

That’s the moment many people recognize: it may not be “heavy dandruff,” but it’s enough to irritate the scalp, distract you, and make you wonder if it’s also connected to the hair you’re losing.

When hair fall increases, confusion increases too

Rohit hadn’t tried much before. No serious treatment. Just a popular oil he mentioned - “adivasi hair oil” - like many people do, hoping something easy will quietly fix it.

But when hair fall doesn’t respond, the next step usually feels overwhelming. Too many products. Too many rules. Too many doubts about what to apply, when to apply, and whether it’ll even suit you.

So the turning point in Rohit’s journey wasn’t a dramatic before-after moment. It was something smaller, but more powerful: a coach calmly laying out a personalized hair treatment plan in a way that finally sounded doable.

“Bas do minute subah aur do minute raat,” the coach told him - stay regular, don’t miss.

Not perfection. Just consistency.

Why the coach wanted to fix dandruff first

Rohit’s dandruff wasn’t constant; it spiked in winter. But even seasonal dandruff can create a cycle: itching leads to scratching, scratching irritates the scalp, and an unhealthy scalp environment can make hair feel weaker and shed more easily. This is the lived reality behind dandruff and dry scalp hair loss - people don’t just “have flakes,” they end up in a loop they can’t ignore.

That’s why the coach made the sequence clear: first, work on dandruff and scalp health; then move to a growth-focused serum.

“Pehle hum aapke dandruff pe work karenge… uske baad serum pe switch kar denge, minoxidil serum pe,” he explained.

Q: Does dandruff really contribute to hair fall?

Yes - when dandruff leads to itching and frequent scratching, it can irritate the scalp and disrupt scalp health. That’s why Traya’s approach often starts with getting dandruff under control before focusing on growth.

The simple routine that made it feel manageable

Rohit’s biggest need was straightforward guidance, so the coach broke it down in plain language and repeated it when Rohit asked again.

He was told to take Hair Ras as follows: two tablets after breakfast and two after dinner (and if a morning dose is missed, it can be taken after lunch - always after food).

Hair Ras is positioned as daily natural hair nourishment, designed to balance pitta dosha and support scalp and hair health from within, including improving blood circulation to hair follicles and tissue nourishment of the Asthi Dhatu. It’s also described as equivalent to “Chavanprash for the hair,” which makes sense in the way Rohit needed to see it: not a quick hack, but a daily internal support.

For the dandruff-focused topical routine, the instructions were equally specific:
He had an Anti-dandruff Night Lotion to apply before sleeping, all over the scalp, strictly three times a week.

In the morning, he was guided to use Scalp Oil mixed with the Dandruff Therapy booster oil (the “chhoti bottle”), applying it at least 30 minutes before shampoo on the days he oils.

Then he’d wash with the Anti-dandruff Shampoo, which contains Ketoconazole 2%. In Traya’s system, dandruff is linked to fungus Malassezia fur fur, and Ketoconazole is used to reduce dandruff and help maintain scalp health, so hair can grow in a healthier environment.

He was also told to keep shampoo use to two to three times a week - no over-washing.

It wasn’t about doing more. It was about doing the right things, in the right order.

The timeline talk that set realistic expectations

The coach didn’t promise instant results. He gave a runway - and that mattered.

He mapped out an eight-month horizon: the first three months focused on dandruff and internal health, then around four to six months, Rohit could expect hair fall reduction and a healthier scalp. By eight months, “aur bhi achchhe changes.”

Then came the most honest part of the call - about the hairline.

“Aapki hairline recede ho rahi hai na… hairline pe thoda difficult hota hai,” the coach said, adding that about 30% customers do see hairline growth, but the key aim is also to stop it from getting worse.

That kind of clarity changes how people commit. Because when you know what’s hard, you stop blaming yourself for not seeing overnight miracles.

Resolution: A clearer start, not a rushed finish

By the end of the call, Rohit’s tone had shifted. The confusion was gone.

“Ji clear hai,” he confirmed.

And the coach did what good guidance always does: he put support on the calendar. A follow-up in 10–12 days, booked for around 11 AM, to check if Rohit is using the routine correctly and to track progress.

Rohit didn’t end with big emotional lines. He ended with something more real.

“Nahin, dhanyavad. Shukriya.”

Because sometimes, the first win in a hair fall journey isn’t regrowth. It’s finally knowing what to do tomorrow morning - and believing it’s worth sticking to.
