Rohit’s 8-Month Hair Comeback Plan with Traya

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Problem: Rohit noticed steady hair fall for 4–5 years, with thinning in the center and visible gaps on the scalp.
  • Likely root causes: dusty outdoor work, irregular meal timing, diabetes, and gut issues like digestion trouble and constipation.
  • What he used: Defence Shampoo, Scalp Oil mixed with Calm Oil Shot, Minoxidil serum, Nasal Grit nasal drops, plus Hair Ras and Hair Vitamin.
  • Timeline shared by coach: first 1–3 months focus on internal health; hair fall control by 4–6 months; visible regrowth often by 7–8 months.
  • Outcome shift: from “Bahut lamba lag raha hai” to a clear, doable routine with follow-ups and tracking via the Traya app.

The moment he finally said, “Bas, ab help chahiye”

Rohit, a road construction worker, didn’t wake up one day and decide to “fix” his hair. It happened slowly - “4–5 saal se dheere dheere ja raha hai,” he told the Traya hair coach.

And the pattern worried him because it wasn’t just general shedding anymore. He could point to it: “Center mein… udhar se baal zyada nikal gaya hai,” and even on the sides, “beech-beech mein bhi gap aa raha hai.”

He had never tried a formal treatment before - only occasional home and Ayurvedic remedies. What pushed him to take a structured step was something very human: a friend’s experience. Someone close had used Traya and told him plainly, “Mera to isse zyada loss ho gaya tha… abhi bahut achha hai.” That’s when Rohit downloaded the app, selected his kit, and picked up the call to understand just one thing: how to use everything the right way.

When hair fall isn’t “just genetics”

Rohit was clear about what he didn’t think was the reason. “Genetic problem hai, aisa kuchh nahin hai,” he said. Instead, he pointed to his daily reality: dust, long shifts, and a schedule that doesn’t allow neat meal timings. “Construction mein… dhool… aur khane ka timing bhi fixed nahin.”

Add to that his health background - “Main thoda diabetes hun” - and his hair test also reflected something else he was already feeling: “Digestion issue aur constipation… hai.”

This is where the story becomes bigger than hair. For many people, the digestion and hair fall connection shows up quietly: irregular eating and gut discomfort can make it harder for the body to make the most of nutrition from food, and that’s the same nutrition your follicles depend on to stay strong. When your routine is unpredictable, your body often runs on “minimum mode” - and hair is one of the first places where that strain becomes visible.

Q: Can constipation and digestion issues make hair fall worse?

Yes - when digestion is off and bowel movements are irregular, nutrient absorption can suffer. Over time, that can mean weaker support reaching the hair follicles, which may worsen shedding and thinning.

“8 months?” The doubt that almost derailed him

When Coach Bhumika explained the expected timeline, Rohit didn’t pretend to be okay with it.

“Aath mahina lagega?” he asked. Then he said what most people think but don’t always admit: “Bahut lamba lag raha hai.”

Instead of overselling quick fixes, the coach kept it real. Eight months was the maximum range, she explained, and results could start earlier depending on how the scalp responds. She also set expectations around hairline areas being harder to regrow, while still reassuring him that the goal is to manage and maintain so it doesn’t keep “pichhe” going.

That honesty matters, because long treatments only work when the plan feels believable enough to follow.

The turning point: making the routine feel simple

Rohit’s biggest concern wasn’t a dramatic side effect or a complicated diagnosis. It was practical: “Isko kaise use karna hai?”

So the coach turned the kit into an easy rhythm. “Sirf do minute subah aur do minute raat,” she told him - something a person with unpredictable duty hours could actually commit to.

She also anchored consistency with accountability: logging usage in the Traya app, getting reminders, and even earning coins that could be used as discounts later. For Rohit, who needed a system more than motivation, that structure was the difference between trying and actually doing.

What his Traya kit included - and why it matched his concerns

Rohit’s kit was built around both scalp care and internal support, with clear instructions for each product.

He was advised to use Defence Shampoo two to three times a week to cleanse and maintain scalp health. Because it’s a mild, sulphate- and paraben-free cleanser (as positioned), it fits into a routine where the scalp is exposed to dust and build-up frequently.

Then came the oiling step: Scalp Oil mixed with the Calm Oil Shot, applied twice a week in the morning and left for at least 30 minutes before washing. The Scalp Oil is designed to maintain scalp health, nourish follicles, and support blood circulation to the area, while the Calm Therapy booster oil is aimed at concerns like high stress and sleep - relevant in lifestyles where recovery can be disrupted.

For regrowth support, he was guided to apply Minoxidil serum: “1 ml subah, 1 ml raat,” on the areas where the scalp was visible, spreading it gently without massaging. He was also prepared for the most anxiety-inducing part: early shedding. The coach explained that increased shedding in the starting month can happen and is considered normal - “a positive sign” that the cycle is responding.

He also had Nasal Grit (nasal drops) to use at night before sleep - two to three drops in each nostril. In Ayurveda, the nasal passage is seen as a gateway to the head, and this product is positioned to support stress and sleep patterns, which can play a role in hair fall.

On the nutrition and internal side, his plan included Hair Ras (two tablets morning and night) for daily natural nourishment, and Hair Vitamin (one tablet in the morning) to support gaps from diet - especially relevant when meal timings are erratic.

Since his test also mentioned digestion and constipation, the coach strongly nudged diet tracking in-app and basics like better water intake, plus simple options like saunf water or ginger tea for relief.

Overall, it wasn’t a random bundle. It was a personalized hair treatment plan that matched the way Rohit actually lives and works.

The resolution: from confusion to control

By the end of the call, Rohit didn’t sound “fixed” - but he sounded steadier. That’s the first win in any long journey.

He went from “Main kisako consult kar raha hun?” and “Daily lagana hai kya?” to repeating the routine back confidently: oil before bath, shampoo a few times a week, serum morning and night, tablets after food, nasal drops at bedtime.

And he didn’t have to do it alone. A follow-up was scheduled in 10–12 days, and he was told he could call back anytime or book through the app.

For someone who’d watched hair fall build up for years, that shift - from guessing to having a plan - was the real turning point.
