Rohan’s 2019 Hair Fall Story: Clarity Changed Everything

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Main concern: Hair fall since 2019, with the biggest complaint being dandruff that “hasn’t been managed” properly.
  • Root causes discussed: Genetics, nutrition, lifestyle, and dandruff; hair loss visible at the front and top of the head.
  • What he used: Minoxidil serum (morning and night), anti-dandruff shampoo (twice a week), scalp oil mixed with a growth oil shot (twice a week), plus Hair Vitamin and Hair Ras supplements.
  • Timeline he was guided on: 1–3 months internal support, 4–6 months hair fall reduction + scalp health, 7–8 months visible changes and regrowth momentum.
  • Outcome focus: Not a “magic fix,” but a consistent, personalized hair treatment plan built around routine, scalp hygiene, and long-term follow-through.

“Product aa gaya… par use kaise karun?”

When Rohan, a shop-owner from Rajasthan, picked up the call, he sounded okay - until he didn’t.

“Main theek hoon, lekin samasya hai,” he said. The kit had arrived, but nobody had explained how to use it. And when hair fall has been going on for years, even a small gap in clarity can feel like the whole plan might fall apart.

For Rohan, the problem wasn’t new. His hair fall started back in 2019, when he was living in Jaipur. Almost alongside it came the second issue that began to dominate everything else.

“Meri sabse badi problem dandruff hai… 2019 se manage nahi hua.”

Not severe, he clarified - “bahut zyada nahi hai, normal hai” - but persistent. The kind that keeps returning, sitting on the scalp like an uninvited guest, and quietly making hair feel weaker month after month.

What the hair test revealed about Rohan’s hair fall

On the call, the Traya expert connected the dots using his hair test: Rohan’s key root causes were flagged as genetics, nutrition, lifestyle, and dandruff. His hair loss stage was explained as visible at both the front and the top of the head, with a family-history cue from his father’s side.

What stood out was what wasn’t driving his hair fall. He reported sleeping well (6–8 hours), having high energy levels, and not taking much stress. No major medical history, no ongoing medication, and no low blood pressure concerns.

So the conversation kept returning to the two-part pattern he’d been living with since 2019: dandruff plus steady shedding. In real life, this “dandruff and dry scalp hair loss” pattern often feels unfair because the dandruff may look “normal,” but the scalp environment stays irritated enough to keep hair fragile.

Does dandruff actually cause hair fall?

Yes - dandruff can contribute to hair fall because it can lead to itching, inflammation, and scalp buildup, and constant irritation can weaken how well hair stays anchored over time. Traya’s approach is to first restore scalp health so hair has the right environment to grow.

The doubt he didn’t want to ignore: “Regrowth kab dikhega?”

Rohan’s questions were practical, the kind people ask when they’ve waited a long time.

“Chhah mahine ke baad regrowth dikhai degi?” he asked.

Instead of overselling, the expert gave him a clear timeline. His journey was set for eight months. The first one to three months would focus more on internal support for the root causes. Months four to six would focus on reducing hair fall and improving scalp health. And from month seven to eight onward, he was told to expect visible changes - density and volume shifts that finally start showing up in the mirror.

The reassurance wasn’t framed like a promise. It was framed like a process.

The turning point: making the routine feel doable

What changed the energy of the call was how quickly confusion turned into structure.

Rohan didn’t need motivation. He needed instructions he could actually follow - especially because he wasn’t at home with the products in front of him. He had the Traya app open, and the expert walked him through it like a coach standing beside him.

He was guided on a simple rhythm: consistency over intensity. “Two minutes in the morning, two minutes at night,” so the routine wouldn’t collapse on busy days.

What he was told to use - and why it fit his root causes

Rohan’s kit had both external and internal parts, designed to work together.

Scalp care: clearing the dandruff loop

For dandruff support, he was instructed to use Traya’s Anti-dandruff Shampoo (Ketoconazole IP 2%) twice a week. In Traya’s system, this shampoo doesn’t claim to regrow hair directly; it focuses on reducing dandruff and preventing further fungal growth so the scalp becomes healthier for hair to grow.

He was also told: if he washes more often than twice a week, he can use a mild sulphate- and paraben-free shampoo on other days (the expert also mentioned Traya’s Defence Shampoo as an option).

The daily growth anchor: Minoxidil serum

He was instructed to apply the Minoxidil serum twice daily - morning and night - using 1 ml on the visible scalp, spreading gently without rubbing.

And this is where Rohan’s most vulnerable worry appeared in plain words.

“Shaam ko lagane ke baad… puri raat laga rahega kya?”

Yes, he was told - minoxidil stays on; you don’t wash it off immediately. He was also cautioned not to apply it on a wet scalp. Apply only after the scalp dries.

He was prepared for something that scares almost everyone in the beginning: the initial shedding phase. The coach explained that for a few weeks hair fall may increase, and framed it as a positive sign that the serum is working - like old leaves falling so new ones can grow.

Oil routine: support through massage and nourishment

Rohan’s kit also included a Scalp Oil plus a Growth Oil Shot (a booster oil). He was told to mix the entire small bottle into the bigger scalp oil bottle, then use it twice a week.

He clarified timing - “nahaane se pehle?” - and was guided to keep it on for at least 30 minutes, and then wash it off with shampoo. If he preferred, he could also oil overnight, but only after letting minoxidil absorb for 25–30 minutes.

Supplements: supporting hair health from within

He was also guided on two internal products and a key rule: never on an empty stomach.

He was told to take Hair Vitamin once daily after breakfast. As per Traya’s system, Hair Vitamin supports nutritional gaps and includes natural DHT blockers such as pumpkin seed extract, along with vitamins and minerals that support hair and skin health.

Alongside that, he was told to take Hair Ras twice daily - two tablets after breakfast and two after dinner. In Traya’s Ayurvedic logic, Hair Ras supports hair nourishment from within by helping balance pitta dosha and improving blood circulation to the hair follicles, supporting scalp and hair health over time.

Even though Rohan didn’t report fatigue or gut issues, the internal support was positioned as part of a combined plan - because hair growth depends on consistency, nourishment, and the overall environment in which follicles function.

Resolution: a plan he could finally picture himself following

By the end of the call, Rohan’s tone had changed. The questions stopped coming not because he lost interest - but because the routine finally made sense.

He confirmed it: “Clear hai.”

He also asked one last practical thing - would the same kit continue for three months? He was told it would be almost the same for three months, with guidance if changes were needed later. And he was encouraged to track daily actions in the app to keep consistency from slipping.

Rohan didn’t hang up with a dramatic “before and after.” He hung up with something more important at that stage: clarity, a timeline, and a routine that fit into real life.

Because when hair fall has been running in the background since 2019, progress doesn’t begin with a miracle. It begins the day confusion ends.
