Neeraj, a working professional with shift-based duties, wasn’t calling to “explore options.” He was calling because he’d already tried.
“Ek saal se ek dedh saal se,” he said, describing how long the hair loss had been going on. And before Traya, he’d done what many people do when panic sets in: he used 5% minoxidil for around 7–8 months, along with an oral add-on. But the frustration lingered: he stopped recently because he didn’t feel results.

Neeraj’s story isn’t about never trying. It’s about trying and then losing faith.

In the call, Neeraj didn’t report dandruff, gut issues, or a medical condition. In fact, he clearly denied concerns like low BP, migraine, heart issues, sinus/asthma, and stomach-level issues, and also said he wasn’t dealing with dandruff.
So the coach anchored the plan to what was present: a longer hair-loss duration, earlier treatment fatigue, and the need to rebuild the journey patiently.
He set expectations in plain language. The Traya journey would be around 5–8 months. The first three months would focus on improving internal health support; by 4–6 months, roots typically feel stronger and hair fall control improves; and by 7–8 months, visible changes may start - like thicker strands, new growth, and improved density around areas like the crown.
This is where many people finally exhale - because it reframes the experience from “nothing is working” to “I’m early in the process and I need to track it properly.”
Can a long hair-loss timeline still improve with the right routine?
Yes. In Neeraj’s case, the coach explained that the early phase is often about consistency and internal support first, and visible changes usually take longer - often showing more clearly closer to months 7–8.
The moment of vulnerability: “Hairline intact hai… toh?”
Neeraj also mentioned something that sounded like cautious hope: “Meri hairline abhi bhi thodi intact hai.”
The coach validated that, while also keeping it honest. Hairline regrowth can be difficult, and Traya can’t assure it in every case - though regrowth has been seen in some cases. What the coach did commit to was meaningful: helping ensure the current condition doesn’t worsen and the hairline doesn’t keep moving back.
It’s a subtle shift, but an important one. Instead of promising miracles, the conversation focused on stability, realistic wins, and long-term maintenance.
The plan made simple: what Neeraj was told to do (and how it fit his day)
Neeraj’s kit had five core items, and the coach walked him through each one so it didn’t feel overwhelming.
He was told to mix the small booster bottle (Growth Therapy) fully into the Scalp Oil and keep it mixed. If the oil thickens in winter like coconut oil, warming the bottle in water would help.
Minoxidil serum was the daily anchor: 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml at night, applied only on visible thinning areas. Neeraj repeated back the instruction to confirm: “Gently spread karna.” No aggressive rubbing, and it should go on a clean, dry scalp.
Oil use was positioned as manageable: twice a week, applied at least 30 minutes before head wash. For cleansing, he had the Defence Shampoo, described as safe for regular use depending on need.
And then came the internal support - where consistency often breaks for busy people. The coach gave clear instructions:
Hair Vitamin: 1 after breakfast.
Hair Ras: 2 after breakfast and 2 after dinner.
From the Product Bible, Hair Ras is positioned as daily natural hair nourishment that helps balance pitta dosha, supports scalp and hair health with adaptogenic herbs, improves blood circulation to follicles, and supports tissue nourishment of asthi dhatu. Hair Vitamin is aimed at nutritional gaps and includes natural DHT blockers like pumpkin seed extract along with essential vitamins and minerals to support hair and skin health.
Neeraj didn’t ask for more “extra tips.” He asked for something better: something he could actually follow.
The biggest fear: shedding
Right before wrapping, the coach brought up a concern many people don’t even know to ask about: initial shedding.
He explained that in the initial weeks, hair fall can increase as weaker strands shed, and that it’s completely normal and gradually settles into control.
Neeraj’s response was simple, but telling: “Theek hai.” Sometimes reassurance isn’t a dramatic moment. Sometimes it’s just finally understanding what’s happening to your body.
Resolution: not a dramatic before-after, but a calmer start
This call wasn’t the end of Neeraj’s story - it was the reset point.
He started the conversation irritated about a disconnected call and ended it with clarity: he understood how to use the kit, how to time it around shift work, what results may realistically look like across months, and how the Traya app would help him stay consistent and track diet.
