Neeraj’s Plan to Tackle Hair Fall and Heavy Dandruff

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Key problem: Ongoing hair fall for a long time, along with heavy dandruff and concerns about greying.
  • Underlying root causes addressed: Scalp health impact from heavy dandruff, plus internal nourishment support (with a coach-led, personalized hair treatment plan).
  • Main products used: Hair Ras, Hair Vitamin, Anti-dandruff Shampoo, Anti-dandruff Night Lotion, and Scalp Oil mixed with a Dandruff Therapy booster shot (Gut Shuddhi was returned as constipation wasn’t a concern).
  • Timeline: First 3 months focused on dandruff + internal health; regrowth cycle expected to start from month 4; hair fall reduction expected around months 4–6; regrowth expectations by around 8 months.
  • Outcome: A clear, trackable routine with follow-up support - so he could start confidently and stay consistent.

The moment he opened the kit - and realized he needed a plan

When Neeraj, a working professional from North India, opened his Traya kit, it wasn’t excitement that hit first - it was confusion.

He counted the products out loud: “I think there are seven products in the case.” And then the question that mattered most: “Please… guide me.”

Not “Which one is best?” Not “Will this work instantly?” Just the honest truth of what most people feel when they start a hair routine: Tell me how to do this properly so I don’t mess it up.

That’s when his Traya hair coach stepped in - not with a lecture, but with calm, simple instructions that made the whole thing feel doable.

What Neeraj was dealing with (and what he wanted from Traya)

Neeraj had noticed hair fall “for a long time.” He didn’t describe one dramatic trigger moment, but the way he said it - steady, certain - made it clear it wasn’t a one-week phase.

Alongside hair fall, there was another major factor: heavy dandruff. In fact, his kit was “dandruff-based,” and the coach explained that the night lotion he received was meant specifically for “heavy dandruff.”

He also brought up greying and hair colour. He had stopped colouring for years and had restarted about two months earlier. He wanted to understand what the tablets would really do, asking whether greys would reverse. The answer was straightforward: existing greys don’t reverse, but support can help delay premature greying.

And there was one more real-life detail that shaped his plan: migraine. Neeraj shared he gets migraines that can last “one to two days,” and he noticed they could flare after drinking alcohol at night.

The root cause that couldn’t be ignored: dandruff and scalp stress

For Neeraj, this wasn’t just about “hair fall.” It was hair fall happening on a scalp that was already struggling.

With heavy dandruff, the scalp can become irritated and uncomfortable - often leading to itching and inflammation. And when the scalp environment isn’t healthy, hair becomes more vulnerable. This is the core of what many people experience as dandruff and dry scalp hair loss: it’s not that dandruff magically “pulls” hair out, it’s that a disturbed scalp makes it harder for hair to thrive.

That’s why Neeraj’s plan began exactly where it should: clearing dandruff and rebuilding scalp health - before chasing regrowth.

Q: Does dandruff cause hair fall?

Heavy dandruff can disrupt scalp health and trigger itching and inflammation. When the scalp stays irritated, hair can shed more easily and feel weaker - so controlling dandruff becomes a key first step in a hair fall plan.

The doubts he said out loud (and why they matter)

Neeraj didn’t pretend he had no fears. He asked what many people worry about but don’t always say clearly: medicines can upset his stomach.

“Mere ko stomach loose ho jata hai… strong medicines se,” he said, checking if the kit had anything that could trigger that.

He also wanted reassurance that the routine wasn’t just theory. He asked about tracking inside the app - whether it would show what to take and what to apply - because his real concern was consistency. If he could track it, he could follow it.

And when constipation support (Gut Shuddhi) came up, he was direct: he doesn’t really have that issue and didn’t want to keep something he didn’t need. The coach offered a return pickup and refund, and Neeraj chose to return it.

That small moment shows something important: he wasn’t buying products blindly anymore. He wanted a routine that matched his body.

The coach-led turning point: making the routine feel simple

Neeraj’s biggest need wasn’t another recommendation - it was clarity. His coach walked him through usage in plain language, including what to take, when to apply, and how often.

Here’s what his routine looked like, explained in a way he could actually follow:

He started with internal nourishment: Hair Vitamin (one tablet daily after breakfast; if missed, it could be taken after lunch). The coach positioned it as support for nutrition gaps, since Traya Hair Vitamin is designed for nutritional deficiencies and includes biotin, vitamins and minerals, and natural DHT blockers like pumpkin seed extract (as per the Product Bible).

Then came Hair Ras: two tablets in the morning and two at night after meals. In Traya’s Ayurvedic logic, Hair Ras is aimed at daily natural hair nourishment, helping balance Pitta dosha, support blood circulation to hair follicles, and improve overall hair quality.

For scalp work, the coach kept it practical. Neeraj received Scalp Oil plus a small Dandruff Therapy booster shot, and he was told to mix the booster shot into the scalp oil in one go. Then apply the oil twice a week, at least 30 minutes before a wash, and wash it off with the Anti-dandruff Shampoo.

For heavy dandruff support, he had the Anti-dandruff Night Lotion three times a week. The instruction was specific: apply it across the scalp, spread gently, don’t massage, keep it overnight, and wash the next day using Anti-dandruff Shampoo.

The coach also shared what Neeraj needed most: a timeline that didn’t overpromise.
He was told the plan spans about five to eight months. The first three months are focused on dandruff and internal health; regrowth cycle starts from month four; reduction in hair fall is expected around months four to six; and regrowth expectations come closer to eight months.

Making it realistic: alcohol, migraines, and daily life

Neeraj admitted alcohol could trigger his migraines, and he was already trying to avoid it. The coach added a practical rule: if he drinks, keep a two-hour gap between alcohol and supplements.

This wasn’t framed as judgement - just as a way to support internal health while the plan does its work.

And because Neeraj mentioned migraines, the coach also clarified something important: regrowth serums may need extra caution for people with migraine, low BP, or heart-related issues, and if a serum is introduced later, it would be done with doctor guidance.

That reassurance mattered. Neeraj didn’t want surprises - he wanted a safe, monitored path.

Resolution: not results yet, but something just as valuable

Neeraj ended the call sounding lighter. “It was nice talking to you,” he said. “You have given information that’s sufficient for me.”

He wasn’t claiming victory on day one. He was doing something better - starting with confidence.

He had a routine, app tracking (“log and earn”), diet plan logging, a follow-up call scheduled, and the sense that if something felt off, he could call back and be heard.

For many people, that’s the real beginning of hair recovery: not a miracle product, but a plan you can actually stick to - and a team that stays with you.
