Neeraj’s Hair Fall Story: When Dandruff Was the Clue

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Key problem: heavy dandruff with heavy hair fall, plus visible thinning where “skin started showing” at the center parting.
  • Likely root causes addressed: dandruff-related scalp disruption and the digestion and hair fall connection (occasional constipation, gas, acidity).
  • What he used: a dandruff kit routine with Anti-dandruff Night Lotion + Scalp Oil mixed with the Dandruff Therapy booster, plus Hair Ras and Health Tatva supplements.
  • Timeline shared by the coach: first 3 months focus on scalp + internal health; 4–6 months for hair fall reduction; 7–8 months for visible changes like regrowth and improved density.
  • Outcome he was working toward: “First priority is stopping hair fall,” then regrowth - especially in the thinning area.

“Aage wala portion thin ho gaya hai… aur center wala portion mein skin dikhne laga hai.”

That’s how Neeraj, a working professional from central India, described what he was seeing in the mirror. Not a dramatic bald patch overnight - just that slow, unsettling change where your scalp starts peeking through, and you can’t unsee it.

He had already started the tablets from his Traya kit. But the real reason he called his hair coach wasn’t to talk about hair science. It was simpler, and honestly more relatable: “Product deliver hua hai… mujhe guidance chahiye - oil vagairah kaise use karna hai.”

When hair fall comes back, it hits harder

Neeraj had seen this story before. Two years earlier, he’d visited specialists and used “minoxidil oil and multivitamin tablets” for about three to four months. The hair fall improved then, so he stopped later because he’d heard minoxidil “achchha nahin.”

This time, the pattern felt more stressful. His hair fall had become heavy again for the last 2–3 months. Before that, it had paused for 5–6 months - then returned.

And on top of the shedding, there was another loud signal: “Heavy dandruff.” For him, that was the main issue he kept coming back to on the call.

The hidden layer: scalp chaos and a gut that’s “irregular”

What made Neeraj’s case more than “just hair fall” was the layering.

He had heavy dandruff, and he also mentioned digestive concerns: occasional constipation (“week mein ek se do baar”), and acidity that flared up when he ate irregular snacks. Nothing severe, but enough to matter - because hair health doesn’t live in isolation.

With dandruff, the scalp can become irritated and unstable. With digestion issues, your system may not feel consistently “settled,” and that can show up as fatigue, inflammation, or inconsistent nourishment reaching the follicles. This is exactly why Traya looks at a personalized hair treatment plan instead of one hero product.

The coach also reinforced the basics: keeping diet steady, hydration, and regular exercise - because consistency is what turns a routine into results.

Q: Does dandruff really cause hair fall?

Yes - when dandruff becomes heavy, it can disturb scalp health and trigger itching, irritation, and buildup. That stressed scalp environment can worsen shedding and make hair feel weaker at the root.

The most human part: “Bas ye bata dijiye… quantity kya rahegi?”

Neeraj didn’t ask for big promises. He asked for clarity.

He wanted to do it right. How much to apply, how to layer products, when to wash, how many times a week - because when you’re already worried about losing hair, you don’t want to lose time to confusion.

So the coach slowed the journey down into something doable.

What the coach changed: a timeline, not a quick fix

Neeraj’s coach set expectations in a way that felt structured, not salesy.

He explained the typical arc:
In the first three months, the focus would be on scalp health and internal health - especially the heavy dandruff. Between four to six months, Neeraj could expect to see reduction in hair fall. And by seven to eight months, visible changes like regrowth and improved density may start showing.

Neeraj’s priority was clear: “First priority is stopping hair fall.” The coach validated that, and also added a practical note: regrowth on the hairline can be difficult, though results can vary, and the goal is also to prevent the “current hair set” from getting worse.

That kind of honesty matters when someone is already skeptical because of past stop-start treatments.

The routine he walked away with (and why each piece mattered)

Neeraj’s kit was designed to first calm the scalp environment and support the system from within.

He was told to use the Anti-dandruff Night Lotion three nights a week, applied gently across the scalp (no aggressive massage). There was no fixed “drop count” - just enough to cover the scalp.

The next morning after the night lotion, he was asked to apply Scalp Oil mixed with the Dandruff Therapy booster oil (the booster is meant for heavy dandruff and itching). He could apply the Scalp Oil like a normal oil, and the booster via dropper. After about half an hour, he would wash it off with the Anti-dandruff Shampoo.

This matters because the Anti-dandruff Shampoo contains Ketoconazole 2%, which is intended to reduce dandruff and prevent further fungal growth, while also soothing inflammation (with Ichthammol and Aloe Vera as per the formulation notes). It’s not a “hair growth shampoo,” but it helps create a healthier scalp base so hair can grow better.

On the internal side, he had:
Hair Ras (for daily natural hair nourishment), which is positioned to balance pitta dosha, support blood circulation to follicles, and nourish hair health from within, and Health Tatva (your daily natural detox) to support digestion, absorption, and metabolism - an important lever when someone reports gas/acidity and occasional constipation patterns.

The coach also mentioned that if Neeraj’s goal is explicit regrowth, Traya often suggests Minoxidil as part of the next kit - since it is used for hair growth support in pattern hair loss by improving blood flow to follicles.

Resolution: a routine that finally felt manageable

By the end of the call, Neeraj’s tone shifted from uncertain to ready.

He’d started the tablets, but now he also had the missing piece: a clear, repeatable weekly system for scalp care. No scrambling, no guessing, no overthinking quantity - just a routine he could follow, track, and discuss in his next scheduled call.

And that’s the real win at this stage of the journey: when someone goes from “guidance chahiye” to “haan, clear ho gaya.”
