Neeraj’s 8-Month Plan for Hair Fall and Dandruff

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Key problem: Hair fall for nearly a year, especially at the front hairline and top (crown), along with heavy dandruff that sticks to the scalp
  • What seemed to be driving it: A mix of dandruff + nutrition + metabolism, with moderate work-and-family stress
  • What he used: Anti-dandruff Shampoo, Anti-dandruff Night Lotion, Scalp Oil (with a dandruff booster shot mixed in once), Health Tatva, and Hair Vitamin (with a plan to switch to Minoxidil later)
  • Timeline: An 8-month personalized hair treatment plan - first 1–3 months focus on dandruff + internal health, 4–6 months on scalp health + hair fall, and 7–8 months on visible regrowth
  • Expected transformation: Better scalp comfort and dandruff control first, then reduced hair fall, then improved density (with hairline being more “sensitive,” but still possible to improve with consistency)

The moment he realized it wasn’t “just normal”

Neeraj, a working professional from North India, brushed off his hair fall for months the way many people do. Stress is “normal,” he said - work and family pressure, the usual. But one detail kept repeating itself: hair fall wasn’t happening in just one spot. He was noticing it at the front hairline and on the top of his head.

And then there was the other thing he couldn’t ignore: heavy dandruff that didn’t just dust off. It stuck to his scalp.

By the time Neeraj took Traya’s hair test, the pattern had been going on for almost a year. No prior treatment, no supplements, no underlying medical condition that he knew of. Just a scalp that felt like it was constantly fighting something - and hair that was quietly giving up.

What Neeraj was dealing with

When the hair coach called to help him start the journey, she reconfirmed what Neeraj had already shared in his test: hair fall at the front hairline and top, heavy dandruff, and moderate stress.

Neeraj didn’t come with a long list of doubts. In fact, he kept it simple: “No, no… there’s no concern like that.” But that calmness can also be a kind of fatigue - the kind that comes from not knowing where to start.

So the coach did what a good guide does: she gave him a structure he could follow.

Why dandruff, nutrition, and metabolism matter together

Neeraj’s root causes, as explained on the call, were metabolism, nutrition, and dandruff - three issues that can feed into each other.

Heavy dandruff can create constant scalp discomfort - itching, stickiness, buildup - and when that scalp environment is unhealthy, hair tends to shed more easily. This is where dandruff and dry scalp hair loss becomes more than a phrase; it starts to look like your reality in the mirror.

At the same time, nutrition and metabolism are about what your body is absorbing and using. If your digestion and metabolism aren’t supporting steady energy and nutrient availability, hair follicles can end up undernourished. In Traya’s approach, supporting internal balance is part of building the conditions for stronger hair over time - the coach explained that internal work would happen early in the plan, alongside dandruff control.

Q&A: Can dandruff trigger hair fall?

Yes - especially when it’s heavy and persistent. Dandruff can lead to itching, buildup, and scalp inflammation, and frequent scratching can worsen shedding. Clearing the scalp is often step one before expecting regrowth-focused products to work well.

The turning point: a timeline that made it feel doable

Neeraj’s coach didn’t promise instant miracles. Instead, she gave him a timeline and a reason to believe in it.

His plan was mapped for eight months. The logic was simple: first bring down the heavy dandruff and support internal health; then focus on scalp health and reducing hair fall; and only after that, expect visible regrowth.

She also set expectations honestly about the hairline. The front hairline can be a more sensitive area, she explained, and regrowth there may be harder than on the crown. But she also shared that some customers do see improvements there - if they stay consistent.

That word came up again and again: regularity.

Not perfection. Not doing everything overnight. Just showing up for the routine.

What the kit included (and how it fit into his week)

Neeraj hadn’t received the kit yet during the call, so the coach walked him through it clearly - so he could note it down while the call was recorded.

His kit included six supplements and topicals, including:

  • Anti-dandruff Shampoo to control dandruff
  • Anti-dandruff Night Lotion for heavy dandruff reduction
  • Scalp Oil for nourishment, along with a dandruff “oil shot” to be mixed into the scalp oil once
  • Health Tatva to support metabolism and digestion
  • Hair Vitamin to support hair nutrition

From the Product Bible, Traya’s Anti-dandruff Shampoo contains Ketoconazole IP 2%, which works to reduce dandruff by targeting the fungal overgrowth associated with it, while soothing support ingredients help with scalp comfort. For someone like Neeraj - who described dandruff as heavy and stuck-on - starting here wasn’t optional. It was foundational.

The coach also explained the rhythm:
Neeraj would use the night lotion three times a week (applied all over the scalp at night, no massage), wash the next morning, and add scalp oil twice a week (minimum 30 minutes before washing). The dandruff booster shot would be mixed into the scalp oil one time, not repeatedly.

Then came the longer-view plan: once dandruff comes under control, he would be switched to Minoxidil for regrowth and hair fall control.

The internal support: why Health Tatva and Hair Vitamin were included

Neeraj’s plan didn’t treat hair like a standalone problem. It treated it like a signal.

From the Product Bible, Health Tatva is positioned as a daily natural detox and digestive support - helping improve metabolism and nutrient absorption, which is important when the goal is to get more nourishment to hair follicles. This is the heart of the digestion and hair fall connection: if absorption is off, hair often pays the price.

Hair Vitamin, as per the Product Bible, is used when nutrition gaps are suspected and includes vitamins and minerals along with natural DHT blockers like pumpkin seed extract. The coach’s instructions were simple and practical: don’t take supplements on an empty stomach; take them after breakfast (and night supplements after dinner).

Small habits that protect consistency

Neeraj didn’t express fear, but the coach anticipated the real enemy: dropping off.

She suggested putting products where they’re easy to see - near the dining table or dressing table - so the routine becomes automatic. If he missed a day, he shouldn’t quit; he should restart the next day.

She also showed him how to use the Traya app to track routine and earn coins for discounts - small rewards that make consistency easier.

Even grooming advice came into it. Because he might switch to a serum later, she advised him not to shave his head completely next time. Keeping at least a little length helps with application and monitoring.

Resolution: what Neeraj gained before results even began

Neeraj’s story is still at the beginning. But it already has a resolution of its own: clarity.

He started with “no doubts,” but by the end of the call he had something more useful than doubts - he had a plan. He knew why his journey would take time, what to expect month by month, and how each product fit into the bigger picture.

Hair regrowth takes patience. Scalp recovery takes structure. And for Neeraj, the biggest shift was this: he wasn’t guessing anymore.
