Neeraj’s 6-Month Hair Thinning Turnaround Plan

Neeraj’s 6-Month Hair Thinning Turnaround Plan

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Main concern: Hair thinning for 6+ months, especially on the right side of the front hairline and the middle parting, along with mild dandruff
  • What seemed to trigger it: A gradual “density khatam ho raha hai” feeling, which Neeraj linked to changing areas and water
  • What the plan included: Minoxidil (morning + night), Scalp Oil mixed with Growth Therapy booster oil, Anti-dandruff Shampoo, plus Hair Ras tablets and Hair Vitamin capsules
  • Timeline he was prepared for: A 5–8 month journey - first 2 months for scalp health and dandruff control, then reduction in hair fall by months 3–4, and visible changes between months 5–8
  • Outcome at this stage: Clear, confident routine and realistic expectations - plus reassurance about initial shedding and regular follow-ups

The moment he realized it wasn’t “just normal”

Neeraj, a 39-year-old from a mid-sized Indian city, didn’t call Traya to complain about pain, itching, or something dramatic. He called for something quieter - and somehow more unsettling.

He’d already ordered the kit. The real stress was in his voice when he said, in effect: “I’ve ordered it… now just tell me how to use it properly. I don’t want to mess this up.”

Because for the last six months, he’d been watching his hair slowly “khatam” in the places that matter most when you look in the mirror: the front (especially one side) and the middle. The back was fine, he said. But the right side near the front was thinning, and the center was getting sparse too.

And somewhere in between, he’d formed his own theory: maybe it’s the water. “Area change hota hai… pani ki wajah se,” he suggested, trying to make sense of a change that didn’t have a neat beginning.

What was really going on under the surface

On the call, Neeraj also confirmed something else that often travels with hair fall: mild dandruff.

That combination matters. Because dandruff can create an unhealthy scalp environment - itching, flaking, and build-up that quietly weakens the base your hair is trying to grow from. When you’re already noticing thinning at the hairline and parting, dandruff and scalp build-up can make the situation feel faster and more visible, turning it into dandruff and dry scalp hair loss for many people.

At the same time, Neeraj’s pattern - front hairline thinning and center thinning - signaled a need for a consistent, long-haul routine focused on follicle support. That’s why the coach framed it as a process, not a quick fix: nutrition and lifestyle support, dandruff control, and daily topical consistency, all working together like a personalized hair treatment plan.

Q: Does dandruff actually cause hair fall?

Yes - dandruff doesn’t directly “stop” hair growth, but it can irritate the scalp and lead to itching and build-up. Over time, that unhealthy scalp environment can increase hair fall and make thinning look worse.

The doubts he didn’t say dramatically - but still felt

Neeraj’s questions were practical, but they carried a deeper worry: “If I use it wrong, will it get worse?”

He asked about everything: whether he should apply oil at night, how many times a week to shampoo, how much oil is “enough,” and how to layer products without causing “damage.” Even when he agreed - “Haan, clear hai” - he kept checking again, the way people do when they’re anxious about losing more hair.

The coach also proactively addressed a fear many people have but don’t voice until it happens: shedding with minoxidil. He explained that initial increase in hair fall can happen because weaker hairs shed first, and told Neeraj not to panic if it happens.

The turning point: a routine that finally felt doable

What changed during the call wasn’t Neeraj’s hair overnight - it was his clarity.

The coach broke the entire kit into a simple rhythm Neeraj could repeat without overthinking:

He was told to use minoxidil daily - 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml at night - only on the visible thinning areas, applied gently without massaging, and always on a dry scalp. He was also guided to wash hands after application and rinse with water if it accidentally dripped elsewhere.

For weekly care, he was instructed to mix the Growth Therapy booster oil into the Scalp Oil bottle (one-time mixing), then apply it twice a week at least 30 minutes before a head bath. After that, he could use the Anti-dandruff Shampoo two to three times a week, especially on hair-wash days after oiling.

And for internal support, he was told to take Hair Ras - two tablets in the morning and two at night, always after food - and Hair Vitamin - one capsule in the morning after food. No empty stomach.

That detail mattered because Neeraj wasn’t looking for more information. He was looking for confidence: “Bas process same rahe… main sahi kar raha hoon na?”

Why these products fit his concern

Neeraj’s kit mapped directly to what he described: thinning around the hairline and center, and mild dandruff.

Minoxidil is positioned in Traya’s protocol to support hair growth by improving blood flow to the hair follicles and addressing thinning linked with follicle shrinkage. The coach emphasized daily use and consistency because results depend on staying regular.

The Anti-dandruff Shampoo contains Ketoconazole 2%, which helps reduce dandruff by targeting fungal dandruff and calming scalp inflammation - important when dandruff is part of the picture.

The Scalp Oil, used with Growth Therapy booster oil, fits into an Ayurvedic-style massage and nourishment routine that supports scalp health and stimulates follicles, especially when done consistently over time.

Hair Ras is described as a daily Ayurvedic nourishment support that works on factors like pitta balance and internal nourishment, while Hair Vitamin helps address nutrition-related gaps and supports hair health with vitamins, minerals, and natural DHT blockers - useful when hair fall may be influenced by nutrition and lifestyle patterns. Many people don’t realize the digestion and hair fall connection until they’re on a structured plan that also improves how the body absorbs what it eats.

The timeline that kept him grounded

Neeraj came in with a reference point: someone he knew had used Traya and told him that in two months, first the weak hairs shed, and then thickness started improving.

The coach didn’t overpromise. He framed a broader, steadier arc: in the first two months, the focus is scalp health and dandruff control; by months three to four, hair fall begins to reduce as roots get stronger; and between months five to eight, visible changes like new thinner hairs, better quality, and density begin to show.

That honesty was important - especially for hairline concerns, which the coach admitted can be tougher and need consistency.

Resolution: a plan, a follow-up, and a little less fear

By the end of the call, Neeraj didn’t sound “fully cured.” He sounded supported.

He agreed to upload a clearer photo for hairline assessment. He accepted that he might see shedding early on and wouldn’t panic. And he even scheduled a follow-up call for continuity - because now he understood that this wasn’t just about buying products; it was about staying on track long enough to let them work.

For someone who started with “use kaise karna hai?”, that shift - toward structure, patience, and consistency - was the first real win.
