Neeraj’s 5-Month Hair Comeback Plan with Traya

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • The problem: A sudden spike in hair fall for 3–4 months, with visible thinning and a slightly receding hairline.
  • What seemed to be driving it: A mix of genetic tendency, stress, nutrition gaps, plus mild dandruff.
  • What the plan included: Minoxidil 5% topical serum, Hair Vitamin, Hair Ras 09, and an anti-dandruff shampoo - plus scalp oil with a growth oil shot for nourishment.
  • Timeline given: First 2 months focus on internal support and dandruff; by 3–4 months hair fall should reduce; by month 5 visible improvement should start.
  • The shift: From “My density has reduced a lot” to a clear, manageable routine and a realistic timeline - supported by follow-ups and tracking in the Traya app.

“I used to have so much density,” Neeraj said, almost like he was trying to convince himself it would come back. “Now it has reduced a lot… from everywhere.”

It wasn’t a dramatic single-day change. It was the slow, unsettling kind - the kind you notice when the crown starts showing a little more scalp than before, when the front hairline feels like it’s quietly moving back, and when you realize this isn’t “just seasonal” anymore.

When hair fall stopped feeling normal

Neeraj, a working professional from North India, told the Traya hair coach that his hair fall had been going on for more than three to four months. Earlier, it didn’t feel like much. But after August, he began noticing a pattern: when his hair was shorter, it didn’t fall as much. As it grew longer, the shedding returned - and it started feeling heavier.

He hadn’t tried any formal treatment before. Just a simple habit: “I drink amla juice in the morning.” When he asked if he could continue it with Traya’s medicines, the coach reassured him he could.

Then came the part that really bothered him: “My density was very high before. Now it has reduced a lot.” Not only at the crown, but “from everywhere… even from the front.”

What the coach noticed that changed the direction

The coach had already reviewed Neeraj’s profile and scalp photos. The good news was immediate and practical: it didn’t look like an advanced stage. It was an early stage where consistent care could still make a meaningful difference.

But instead of treating it like “just hair fall,” the coach framed it like a root-cause puzzle: Neeraj’s likely triggers weren’t only one thing. They were genetic tendency, stress, nutrition, and mild dandruff - together.

That matters, because dandruff isn’t only a cosmetic issue. It can turn into itching, irritation, and scalp imbalance that makes hair shedding feel worse. This is exactly where dandruff and dry scalp hair loss becomes a cycle: discomfort leads to scratching, scalp health worsens, and hair fall starts feeling constant.

Why this mix of triggers can show up as crown thinning and hairline changes

When the coach mentioned the crown area, Neeraj immediately related - he could see scalp in the center region and felt the overall density drop. The coach also flagged that the front hairline was going back “a little,” and that their goal was to stabilize it and prevent further recession, while aiming for regrowth where possible.

This is what a personalized hair treatment plan looks like in real life: not one product, not one promise - just targeted actions for what’s actually happening.

Q: Does dandruff cause hair fall or is it just flakes?

Dandruff can affect scalp health and trigger itching and irritation. If the scalp stays inflamed or you scratch often, it can increase hair fall. Treating dandruff is often a key step before expecting better hair quality.

The doubts he voiced (and why they mattered)

Neeraj’s questions weren’t dramatic, but they were real - the kind that decide whether someone stays consistent.

He asked, “Can I drink amla juice with this?” He wanted to be sure he wasn’t doing something wrong.

When minoxidil was explained, he pushed back on the quantity: “1 ml is very less, right?” The coach clarified that it’s not about applying it everywhere - only where the scalp is visible and regrowth is needed.

He also asked about technique: “I don’t have to massage it?” He was told to spread it gently and leave it on - don’t massage it like oil.

And when his oil bottle thickened in winter, he asked if he could keep it in sunlight. The answer was a clear no - use lukewarm water to liquify it, but don’t put it in the sun.

These small doubts are often where people drop off. Here, they became moments of reassurance.

The routine he was guided to follow

Once Neeraj understood that his situation was still manageable, the coach mapped a daily plan around regrowth, nutrition support, and dandruff control.

Minoxidil 5% topical serum for regrowth

From the Product Bible, Minoxidil 5% targets hair thinning and receding hairline in men by improving nutrient-rich blood flow to the follicles through a vasodilating effect, and helping reverse miniaturization. Neeraj was instructed to use 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml at night, applied only on the areas with visible thinning.

The coach also prepared him for a key psychological speed bump: initial shedding. Neeraj was told that hair fall can increase in the first few weeks because weaker hair sheds first, and that it typically settles gradually.

Hair Ras 09 + Hair Vitamin to support the inside

Neeraj’s kit also included Hair Ras 09 and Hair Vitamin.

Hair Ras 09 is described as an Ayurvedic formulation designed to support hair health by addressing stress and internal imbalances, with ingredients like Ashwagandha, Jatamansi, Tagara, Bhringraj, Amla, Shankhpushpi, and Brahmi. Neeraj was guided to take it at night after food.

Hair Vitamin, per the Product Bible, supports nutrient deficiencies and includes ingredients like biotin, vitamins and minerals, plus natural DHT blockers such as pumpkin seed extract, green tea extract, and bhringraj. Neeraj was asked to take one capsule after breakfast (or after lunch if he forgot in the morning). This also ties into the bigger story many people miss: the digestion and hair fall connection - if the body isn’t consistently supported, follicles don’t get what they need.

Anti-dandruff Shampoo for scalp balance

Since Neeraj had mild dandruff, the coach emphasized controlling it. Traya’s Anti-dandruff Shampoo contains Ketoconazole 2%, which helps reduce dandruff by acting against the fungus Malassezia and supporting scalp comfort. He was advised to use it twice a week, and to use a mild shampoo on other wash days.

Scalp Oil + Growth Therapy shot for nourishment

Neeraj also had Scalp Oil and a Growth Therapy shot to mix into it. The Scalp Oil, with Coconut Oil and herbs like Amla, Bhringraj, Brahmi, and more, is designed to nourish the scalp and support follicular nourishment through regular oiling. The Growth Therapy booster adds essential oils like camphor and wheat germ for added nourishment. Neeraj was instructed to oil twice a week, keep it on for about 30 minutes before washing, and avoid sunlight warming.

The timeline that gave him patience

What Neeraj needed most wasn’t hype. It was a timeline that made waiting feel logical.

The coach set expectations clearly: the first two months focus on internal support and dandruff, by months three to four the hair fall should start reducing and scalp health should feel better, and around month five he should begin seeing a noticeable change - especially at the crown. The coach also spoke about maintaining the hairline so it doesn’t recede further, with the possibility of regrowth for some.

Resolution: from “confusion” to a system he could follow

The most important change in Neeraj’s story happened before any regrowth: his uncertainty turned into clarity.

He left the call knowing what to apply, what to take, how often to wash, what to expect in the early weeks, and how to track it inside the Traya app. He even agreed to a follow-up call in 10–15 days for progress updates - because this wasn’t a one-time purchase anymore. It was a monitored journey.

And for someone who started with “My density has reduced a lot,” that kind of structure can be the first real relief.
