Arjun’s 2-Year Hair Fall Plan: Clear Steps, Realistic Hope

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Problem: Hair fall for 2–3 years, along with hair thinning and a receding hairline on both sides.
  • Root causes/context: Long-standing hair fall with signs of pattern hair loss; plus a gut concern where he felt, “I don’t feel like what I eat is clearing out properly.”
  • Main products used: Minoxidil serum (1 ml twice daily), Scalp Oil (twice a week), Nasal Ghrit drops (21 days), plus Hair Ras, Health Tatva, Gutt Shuddhi, and Hair Vitamins.
  • Timeline: Early months focused on internal and scalp health; hair fall control expected around months 4–6; visible regrowth and better density around months 7–8 with consistency.
  • Outcome: A realistic plan: work on regrowth where possible, and “manage and maintain” the hairline to prevent further damage.

“I’ll record this call… so it’s easier for me.”

Arjun, a working professional from India, had a simple reason for hitting record before the conversation even began. He’d just received his Traya kit the day before, and he didn’t want to mess it up.

Hair fall had been around for “about two to three years,” he said. And like a lot of people who keep hoping it’ll settle on its own, he hadn’t taken any treatment yet.

But now, he wanted one thing clearly: “The hair that has reduced… it should come back again.”

When hair fall becomes the background noise of your day

Arjun wasn’t describing dramatic clumps or panic-level shedding. In fact, he mentioned that when he shampoos, “a few hairs fall,” and it didn’t feel excessive.

What bothered him more was the direction his hair seemed to be going in: thinner hair overall, and a hairline that was receding on both sides.

That’s when his Traya hair coach, Gaurav, set expectations with honesty. Hairline recovery can be tough, and in some cases, the goal is to maintain and prevent further damage rather than promise full regrowth in very bare areas.

Arjun’s response was calm and practical: “Okay… understood.”

The hidden context: a gut feeling that something was off

Interestingly, Arjun didn’t report dandruff (he clearly said, “No, I don’t have dandruff.”). And he denied any major medical conditions too.

But there was one line that stood out - something he couldn’t quite label as constipation, yet couldn’t ignore either: “I feel like what I eat doesn’t come out the same amount.”

This is where the coach connected his kit to that concern: Gutt Shuddhi was included to support gut comfort and help with bowel-related concerns.

In everyday language, this is the digestion and hair fall connection many people miss. When your gut feels sluggish or incomplete, it’s harder for your body to consistently absorb and utilize the nourishment hair follicles need.

Q: Can gut issues really affect hair fall?

Yes - when digestion is off, nutrient absorption can suffer. And when nourishment doesn’t reach the follicles well, hair quality and growth can take a hit. Supporting gut health is a meaningful part of a holistic plan.

The questions Arjun asked (the ones most people hesitate to)

Once the routine started to make sense, Arjun asked the kind of practical questions that decide whether someone follows a plan - or drops off after week one.

He asked about massage: “Massage should be done?”
The coach clarified: with Minoxidil, he should not massage. Just apply and spread it gently where the scalp is visible.

Then came the bigger worry: “How will it be?” and whether he could use oil after applying Minoxidil - because dryness was something he already anticipated: “Hair becomes dry, that’s why I need to apply it.”

The guidance was specific and doable: if dryness happens, apply oil after about 30 minutes, and only lightly “upar upar,” not soaking the scalp immediately after Minoxidil.

He also asked if he could splash water on his head and then apply - he was told no.

This wasn’t just product guidance. It was the difference between confusion and clarity - between trying and actually sticking to a personalized hair treatment plan.

The turning point: a timeline that made the waiting easier

Arjun didn’t need hype. He needed a roadmap.

Gaurav broke it down into a realistic arc:
In the first 1–3 months, the focus is internal health and scalp health. By months 4–6, hair fall control becomes more visible. And around months 7–8, regrowth, volume, and density are more likely to look “visible.”

That long horizon mattered - because it helped Arjun not panic when early changes feel slow.

What Arjun’s kit looked like in real life

Instead of overwhelming him, the coach simplified it into a small daily routine - “two minutes in the morning and two minutes at night.”

Here’s how the plan was explained on the call, mapped to Traya products:

Minoxidil topical serum was the anchor for regrowth support. He was told to apply 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml at night, only where the scalp is visible. The coach also prepared him for initial shedding, explaining that hair fall may increase at first because weaker strands shed before the cycle stabilizes.

Scalp Oil was to be used twice a week, mixed with the small booster bottle that comes with it, applied about 30 minutes before a wash and then shampooed off. In Traya’s approach, regular oil massage supports scalp and follicle nourishment and circulation, but it must be timed correctly if Minoxidil is also being used.

Nasal Ghrit drops were added for 21 days: three drops in each nostril before sleep. The coach explained it helps regulate the sleep cycle - an important support when stress and sleep disruption can worsen hair fall patterns.

On the inside, Hair Ras was positioned as daily nourishment that helps balance pitta dosha and supports tissue nourishment (including asthi dhatu), with benefits like improving hair quality and supporting scalp health from within. Health Tatva was explained as support for digestion, absorption, and metabolism - because energy and nutrient uptake matter for follicles. Gutt Shuddhi was kept for gut cleansing support when bowel movements feel incomplete. And Hair Vitamins were added to cover nutritional gaps that can quietly worsen thinning.

Resolution: hope, with realism

Arjun ended the call without doubt. “No, no doubts now,” he said.

What changed for him wasn’t just receiving a kit - it was receiving a plan he could actually follow, with clear expectations: some areas may respond better than others, the hairline may need maintaining, and the real results take months, not weeks.

But for the first time in 2–3 years, his goal - “the hair that has reduced should come back” - had a structured path forward, and a coach committed to checking in every 12–15 days.
