Aman’s Routine Reset for Hairline Hair Fall

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Problem: Receding hairline and thinning hair for 1–2 years, with hair fall he wanted to control.
  • Context: Mild dandruff that flares up during field duty (non-permanent, comes and goes).
  • What he used: Hair Ras (supplement), Scalp Oil mixed with Scalp Health Oil Shot, Anti-dandruff Shampoo, and a hair active serum.
  • Timeline he was guided on: Internal support in months 1–2, hair fall control in months 3–4, visible changes from month 5 onward.
  • Outcome goal: Not “miracle regrowth” at the hairline, but to prevent the hairline from getting worse and maintain overall hair quality with consistency.

Aman didn’t call Traya to complain. He called because he didn’t want to do it wrong.

He’d already bought the kit. It was in front of him: tablets, shampoo, oil, and a serum. And still, one question kept looping in his mind - “Dose wagairah kaise lena? Kitna, kaise aur kab lagana hai?”

For someone who spends time away on duty, routines have to be clear, simple, and doable. Guesswork doesn’t work.

When hair fall becomes a background worry

Aman, a defence forces professional, had been noticing hair fall for about one to two years. The bigger concern wasn’t the crown or patches - he was clear about that. “Bas hairline mein hai,” he said. The front was receding, and the rest of the hair felt like it was getting thinner, the kind of thinning that makes you feel like you’re one bad season away from visible loss.

He’d tried home fixes like juice, hoping it would stop the slide. But the anxiety didn’t fully leave. He wasn’t asking for instant transformation - he wanted control. Stability. A hairline that doesn’t keep moving back.

The context he didn’t ignore: dandruff during duty

One detail mattered: dandruff wasn’t constant for Aman, but it showed up during postings - especially in places like Srinagar. “Udhar thoda ho jata hai… permanent nahin hai,” he explained.

That matters because dandruff and dry scalp hair loss often travel together. When the scalp gets irritated and flaky, people tend to scratch more, the scalp barrier gets disturbed, and hair fall can start feeling worse - especially when you’re already watching your hairline closely.

In Aman's case, it wasn’t a dramatic scalp condition, but it was a recurring trigger that needed a steady plan.

Q&A: Does dandruff cause hair fall?

Yes - dandruff can indirectly increase hair fall. When fungal dandruff leads to itching and irritation, frequent scratching and inflammation can weaken the scalp environment, which can make hair shed more.

The turning point was clarity, not motivation

Aman’s biggest vulnerability in the call wasn’t fear - it was confusion. He needed a routine he could follow without second-guessing.

He asked practical, honest questions: Should the serum go only on the front line or the whole scalp? Will there be more hair fall after starting? Do I need to wash my hair daily if I apply it at night? Can I use any other shampoo or oil?

Instead of generic advice, the hair coach gave him structure, and just as importantly, realistic expectations.

She explained the treatment arc in a way that made the journey feel measurable: the first and second month are when supplements begin working on internal health; the third and fourth month is when hair fall starts coming under control and scalp health improves; and from month five onward, visible changes begin.

She also didn’t oversell the hairline. For a receding hairline, she told him regrowth isn’t something Traya promises - but the goal is to not let it get worse, and to maintain what he has with consistent care.

That honesty is often what makes someone stay consistent.

“Ismein hair fall ho sakta hai thoda sa?” - the shedding doubt

Aman brought up the question many people are almost afraid to ask: if I start applying this, will my hair fall increase?

The coach prepared him for it: in the starting weeks, he may notice more hair fall with the hair active serum, and it typically reduces gradually with time. For someone already watching his hairline, that reassurance matters because it prevents panic-quitting.

He also asked the real follow-up: “Jo hair fall ho rakha hoga, vo regrowth ho jaega na?” The coach reinforced the importance of regularity and staying the course.

The personalized hair treatment plan that fit his life

Once his doubts were addressed, the routine became simple - built around his week, not against it.

Hair Ras (supplement) as the daily base

Aman’s kit included Hair Ras - an Ayurvedic supplement designed for daily natural hair nourishment. The coach guided him to take two tablets after breakfast and two after dinner.

From the Product Bible perspective, Hair Ras is positioned to balance pitta dosha, support blood circulation to hair follicles, and help tissue nourishment of Asthi Dhatu. It’s also promoted as “equivalent to Chavanprash for the hair” and is typically recommended over a longer duration (6–8 months for best results).

Oil routine: twice a week, mixed together

He had two oils - a larger Scalp Oil and a smaller Scalp Health Oil Shot. He was told to mix them and apply twice a week, keeping it on for at least 30 minutes before hair wash.

According to the Product Bible, Scalp Oil works through the Ayurvedic practice of shiroabhyanga - helping calm the mind, improve blood circulation, and nourish follicles through medicated oil preparation (sneh pak dravya).

Anti-dandruff Shampoo: two to three times a week

Because he’d mentioned mild dandruff during duty, the kit had an Anti-dandruff Shampoo with Ketoconazole 2%, which is meant to reduce dandruff and prevent further fungal growth. He was advised to use it two to three times weekly, especially on oil-wash days.

Hair active serum: nightly, 1 ml, no massage

The serum was a nightly commitment: 1 ml on the scalp, spread gently, without massage, and applied all over the scalp (not just the front). This “do it daily, keep it gentle” instruction made the routine feel doable, even on busy days.

He also got clarity that hair washing doesn’t need to be daily - just two to three times a week.

And when he asked if he could add other oils or shampoos, the answer was clear: avoid mixing in other products.

Resolution: a plan he could finally follow without overthinking

By the end of the call, Aman wasn’t chasing guarantees - he was holding onto a routine.

He went from “kitna kaise aur kab?” to a clear rhythm: supplements after meals, serum at night, oil twice a week, shampoo two to three times a week, and check-ins every 10–12 days so progress could be tracked.

For someone living with unpredictability in postings and weather, that kind of structure is the real start of change. And sometimes, the first win in a hair journey isn’t regrowth - it’s finally feeling like you’re not guessing anymore.
