But one detail stood out clearly in his story: heavy dandruff.
In cases like his, dandruff and dry scalp hair loss can start feeling like a loop. Dandruff can make the scalp itchy and irritated, and constant irritation can worsen shedding. So even if someone is focused on regrowth and density, the scalp environment has to become healthier first - otherwise, the “base” isn’t stable.
That’s why Traya’s approach in his plan began with clearing dandruff using medicated, targeted care before switching gears into regrowth-focused actives.

Yes - when dandruff becomes heavy, it can lead to itching, inflammation, and scalp build-up. This can weaken the scalp environment and contribute to increased hair fall, which is why dandruff control often comes before regrowth.
The doubt that mattered most: “Five months” vs “seven-eight months”
Aman’s other big turning point on the call was a mismatch in expectations. He remembered being told a five-month timeline earlier, and now he was hearing something longer.
He questioned it immediately: “Jo call tha vo five months ka bataega. Seven months kaise badhega?”
The coach didn’t brush it off. He explained that the first timeline may have been an estimate, but once a hair coach reviews the situation (especially scalp condition like heavy dandruff), the journey gets set more accurately.
Then he laid out a timeline Aman could actually track:
In 1–3 months, dandruff reduction and internal health support; in 4–6 months, hair fall control and follicle health work; and by 7–8 months, visible changes like volume, density, and regrowth.
It wasn’t a magical promise. It was a more honest runway.
The “not lifelong everything” clarity - and the one exception
Aman’s fear was simple: what if this never ends?
The coach explained that not everything is meant to be lifelong. For example, Hair Vitamin is a course that completes, and the kit isn’t something he must use forever. But he also clarified one important truth about pattern hair loss management: if minoxidil is used for regrowth and then stopped, changes can reverse.
That single point helped separate “maintenance” from “dependency.” The goal wasn’t to keep adding products endlessly - it was to use the right thing for the right phase, and then maintain results smartly.
This is also what makes a personalized hair treatment plan feel different: it evolves based on scalp condition and progress, instead of staying static.
What his routine looked like in real life
Aman repeatedly said he already understood the kit. Still, the coach mapped it in a way that sounded doable - even for someone short on time.
He was asked to use:
Anti-dandruff Solution 3 times a week at night, applied across the scalp and left overnight (without massage). In the morning, he could apply Scalp Oil (mixed with the dandruff oil shot), and keep it for at least 30 minutes before washing.
The wash routine included Traya’s Anti-dandruff Shampoo 2–3 times a week. This shampoo uses Ketoconazole 2%, an antifungal ingredient meant to reduce dandruff and prevent fungal overgrowth, while also soothing scalp inflammation.
Alongside, his internal support included:
Hair Ras (2 tablets after breakfast and 2 after dinner) and Hair Vitamin (1 tablet daily after breakfast). Hair Ras is designed for daily natural hair nourishment - supporting scalp and hair health from within by balancing pitta dosha, improving circulation to follicles, and supporting tissue nourishment (Asthi Dhatu).
Even though Aman didn’t talk about nutrition concerns, Traya also nudged him toward the in-app diet plan and regular tracking - because consistency is often what decides results.
Resolution: a calmer headspace before a calmer scalp
Aman didn’t share final results on the call - he had just started. But something still shifted by the end: uncertainty turned into a clearer agreement with the process.
