Aman’s 8-Month Plan to Tackle Hair Fall & Dandruff

Traya Journey at a Glance

  • Concern: Hair fall for 2–3 years, plus heavy dandruff and a visibly “empty” scalp area on top.
  • Underlying context: Chronic dandruff triggering itching and scalp irritation, along with the need to strengthen internal nourishment and absorption.
  • What he used: Anti-dandruff shampoo + anti-dandruff night lotion (Ketoconazole 2%) plus Scalp Oil mixed with the Dandruff Therapy booster shot; internal support with Hair Ras, Hair Vitamin, and Health Tatva.
  • Timeline shared by coach: First 3 months for dandruff + internal health; months 4–6 for noticeable hair fall control and better scalp/follicle health; visible regrowth expected closer to month 8.
  • Outcome aimed for: Manage dandruff long-term and reduce hair fall while building visible regrowth with consistency and follow-ups.

Aman still remembers the day his Traya kit arrived. Not because it was a big box, but because it came with a bigger question: “Now what? How do I apply all this?”

He’d been dealing with hair fall for “2–3 years,” and his dandruff had become heavy enough to feel like a constant, annoying background problem. When he finally got his kit delivered, he didn’t call to complain. He called to understand. “Mere paas pahunch chuka hai… kaise lagana hai? Kya karna hai?”

That’s where his Traya journey really began.

When hair fall stops being “normal”

In Aman's words, the hair fall had been going on for years. No past treatment. No ongoing medicines. But there was one detail his coach didn’t miss: heavy dandruff.

It’s easy to live with dandruff until it turns into something that affects your daily comfort. And when the scalp doesn’t feel calm, hair rarely thrives. Aman’s expectation was clear and honest: he wanted his “hair fall and dandruff… to be removed from the root.”

His coach met that hope with something even more valuable than motivation: a realistic plan. He explained that dandruff tends to be a chronic, recurring concern - something you manage and maintain. Same for hair fall: it often needs ongoing maintenance, not a one-time fix. But yes, hair fall can come down, and yes, regrowth can happen.

And then came the most specific reassurance Aman needed: the timeline.

The root cause behind the struggle: dandruff plus internal support

Aman’s case had two big threads running together: dandruff and long-term hair fall.

Traya’s approach here is practical. Heavy dandruff can create itching, flaking, and irritation, and constant scalp disturbance can worsen shedding. That’s why the kit started with an anti-dandruff routine using Ketoconazole 2% (present in Traya’s Anti-dandruff Shampoo and Anti-dandruff Night Lotion). This doesn’t “regrow” hair directly, but it helps clear dandruff and scalp build-up so the scalp environment can support healthy hair.

At the same time, Aman was also put on internal support - because a scalp routine works best when the body is supported too. His kit included Hair Ras (for daily natural hair nourishment, balancing pitta dosha and supporting blood circulation to follicles), and Health Tatva (to support digestion, metabolism, and nutrient absorption). This matters because the digestion and hair fall connection is real in day-to-day life: if absorption is weak, follicles often don’t get what they need consistently.

Q: Does dandruff cause hair loss?

Yes - dandruff can indirectly increase shedding. When dandruff leads to itching and inflammation, repeated scratching and scalp irritation can weaken hair at the roots. Managing dandruff is often an important first step to reducing dandruff and dry scalp hair loss.

The moment of vulnerability: “Lotion laga ke sarda hona hai kya?”

Aman’s doubts weren’t dramatic - they were practical, the kind most people have but don’t always ask.

He double-checked frequency, timing, and even small sensory concerns. At one point he asked, “Lotion laga ke sarda hona hai kya?” - basically, do I need to dry it off? Can I sleep with it on?

The coach’s answer was simple and confidence-building: apply it at night and sleep, then shampoo the next day. No overthinking. No complicated rituals.

Then came another very real confusion: the Scalp Oil looked “gel type ka.” The coach clarified it wasn’t gel - it had likely solidified. The fix was as relatable as it gets: place the bottle in lukewarm water briefly and it will return to normal.

These tiny moments matter because they’re often the reason people quit early. Traya’s job here wasn’t just to prescribe - it was to make the plan doable.

The turning point: a routine that finally felt clear

Once Aman had the kit in front of him, his coach mapped it into a routine:

He was asked to use the Anti-dandruff Night Lotion three nights a week, applied across the scalp with light massage, without washing it immediately.

The Anti-dandruff Shampoo was also scheduled three times a week.

For the Scalp Oil routine, Aman had two bottles: the base Scalp Oil and the Dandruff Therapy booster shot (the smaller bottle). He had to pour the entire small bottle into the bigger one and mix it once. This oil mix was to be used twice a week in the morning, and shampooed off after about half an hour.

Internally, he had three products - Hair Ras, Hair Vitamin, and Health Tatva - all to be taken after meals (not on an empty stomach). This became his personalized hair treatment plan: topical for scalp environment plus internal nourishment and absorption support.

The coach also set expectations the right way. Not overnight promises - an 8-month journey. The first three months focused on dandruff and internal health; months four to six aimed to bring down hair fall and improve scalp and follicle health; around month eight, visible new hair changes were expected.

Preparing Aman for what’s next: the minoxidil conversation

A key moment in the call was when the coach explained that the anti-dandruff solution was for one month, after which Aman would switch to minoxidil for regrowth support.

He also pre-warned Aman about “healing shedding” - that hair fall can temporarily increase in the first few weeks of minoxidil, and that this can be a normal sign the product is starting to work. He checked for contraindication-style concerns in conversation, asking about heart issues, low BP, and migraines - and Aman said no.

That kind of transparency is what keeps people consistent instead of anxious.

Resolution: not a quick fix - something more sustainable

Aman’s story doesn’t end with a “before and after” photo in this transcript. It ends with something more foundational: clarity, a timeline, and a routine he can actually follow.

He began with, “My kit is delivered - tell me what to do.” He ended with his follow-up call booked, his confusion about the “gel-like” oil resolved, and a clear understanding of how his dandruff and hair fall would be handled - step by step, month by month.

For someone who’d been living with hair fall for 2–3 years, that structure can feel like relief.
