Traya Journey at a Glance
- Two‑plus years of progressive hair thinning from crown to hairline pushed “Rohit”, 41, to finally look for a real solution.
- His main root causes: chronic neglect of scalp care, mild dandruff, nutritional gaps and aging‑related follicle weakening.
- His personalized hair treatment plan combined Minoxidil, Ayurvedic tablets (Hair Ras, Health Tatva), Hair Vitamin, Nasal Ghrit, Scalp Oil with booster shot, and Anti‑dandruff Shampoo.
- Months 1–3 focused on internal health, metabolism and scalp detox; months 4–8 on follicle strength and visible regrowth.
- Outcome: he understood where growth is realistically possible (crown, baby hair line) and how to stop further receding, with a clear, doable routine and coach support.
“Naya baal aa sakte hain?” - Where Rohit’s Story Really Starts
By the time Rohit, a 41‑year‑old professional from a tier‑2 city, got on a call with his Traya hair coach, he had already tried the usual shortcuts. For more than two years his hair had been thinning, first at the crown and then creeping forward along his hairline. A few sessions of PRP had given him hope, but not results he could rely on.
So when his Traya kit finally arrived, he hadn’t even opened it yet. “Abhi nahin use kiya sir, main doosri taraf kaam kar raha tha, ghar pe nahin gaya tha,” he admitted with a laugh, half‑sheepish, half‑tired.
The question that slipped out later showed what he was really afraid of: “Sir, ye kya naya baal aa sakte hain? Kya aisa?”
Underneath that simple line was the real fear: is this just about slowing my loss, or can I actually see new growth again?
What Was Really Going On With His Hair
The coach started where Traya always does: getting the full picture. Rohit’s hair fall had been going on for “round about do saal se zyada.” He had mild dandruff, no major medical history, no gut issues like IBS or fatty liver, no thyroid or cardiac problems. On paper, he was “healthy”.
But his scalp images told a different story. From the crown to the front hairline, the density had clearly dropped. The coach could see visible scalp at the crown, with thinning marching towards the front. This is classic androgen‑driven thinning layered on top of age‑related follicle miniaturisation and lifestyle gaps.
Add mild dandruff into the mix and you get a scalp that is slightly inflamed and not breathing well. Flakes and oil form a thin film over the scalp, and each day’s dust, sweat and styling make that film thicker. Over months and years, this build‑up weakens the follicle’s “socket”, so even a light tug or normal washing can pull out hair more easily.
The coach also knew something else Rohit hadn’t verbalised: at 41, his follicles were not as forgiving as they were at 25. If he wanted to preserve what he had and improve density at the crown, he needed a plan that worked from inside out, not just a bottle of serum.
Can dandruff and a “normal” scalp still cause hair loss?
Yes. Even “normal” or mild dandruff can fuel shedding over time. When flakes, oil and product residue sit on the scalp, they irritate the skin, disturb the scalp microbiome and create low‑grade inflammation around follicles. This doesn’t always itch dramatically, but it can still loosen hair roots and accelerate thinning.
The Turning Point: Hearing the Truth About Regrowth
When Rohit asked if new hair could grow, it would have been easy to over‑promise. Instead, the coach was honest and specific.
He explained that Traya could confidently aim for regrowth from the crown backwards and into areas where there were still baby hairs. “Crown area se lekar aage hairline tak thoda hair fall hua hai, to scalp visible ho gaya. Crown area tak to growth ka hum reassure de sakte hain,” he clarified.
Then came the nuance: hairline regrowth is harder. “Hairline pe growth karana thoda mushkil hota hai,” the coach said, adding that around thirty percent of Traya customers do see fresh growth at the hairline, especially where tiny baby hairs are still present. What Traya could absolutely do was help him keep the hair he still had and prevent further receding.
For Rohit, the turning point wasn’t a magic guarantee; it was finally understanding what was realistic, what wasn’t, and what he could control with consistency.
A Plan That Started With His Internal Health
Instead of jumping straight to “hair growth products”, the coach laid out an eight‑month roadmap. Months one to three would focus on his internal health and metabolism; months four to six on follicle strength and reduced shedding; and from seven to eight months onwards, visible changes in density if he stayed consistent.
To do that, the plan combined Ayurveda, dermatology and nutrition into one routine.
Health Tatva was prescribed as his daily digestive stimulant and metabolic support. Although Rohit didn’t have obvious gut disease, the coach knew that sluggish metabolism and sub‑optimal absorption silently starve hair follicles. Health Tatva supports the digestive fire and nutrient absorption so that whatever Rohit eats actually reaches the roots of his hair. It’s the quiet digestion and hair fall connection many people miss.
Hair Ras was the second pillar. This Ayurvedic formulation is designed to balance excess heat (Pitta), nourish deeper tissues and support hair and nervous system together. For someone like Rohit, it acts like a Chyawanprash for hair: improving blood flow to the scalp, deeply nourishing the hair‑bearing tissues and calming the stress axis that often accelerates thinning.
On top of that, the Hair Vitamin filled in nutritional blanks. Even if a blood report doesn’t scream deficiency, small gaps in B vitamins, zinc, and other micronutrients matter. Traya’s Hair Vitamin, with biotin, pumpkin seed extract and other natural DHT‑modulating components, helps support overall hair quality from within and can be particularly useful for men worried about long‑term iron deficiency hair fall recovery or micronutrient‑driven thinning.
To help with sleep and stress, he also received Nasal Ghrit (Nasal Grit). Three drops in each nostril at bedtime for 21 days works on the Ayurvedic principle that the nose is the gateway to the head. Medicated cow ghee with herbs like Yashtimadhu and Shatavari helps calm the nervous system, deepen sleep and indirectly protect follicles from stress‑related shedding.
Targeting His Scalp: Oil, Shampoo and Minoxidil
Once the inside was being handled, the coach moved to Rohit’s scalp.
First came Scalp Oil, a medicated coconut‑based blend infused with herbs like amla and bhringraj and processed with goat milk. Two times a week, mixed with a customised booster shot (a growth‑focused oil shot in his kit), this oil was to be massaged into his scalp at least half an hour before hair wash. The goal: improve blood circulation, nourish follicles locally and bring some calm into his nightly routine.
Because of his mild dandruff, Anti‑dandruff Shampoo with ketoconazole was added three times a week. This wasn’t about “hair growth” directly but about clearing fungus, flakes and build‑up so that his scalp environment favoured healthy follicles instead of dandruff and dry scalp hair loss.
Finally, the core regrowth engine: Minoxidil. His coach explained the dosing clearly - 1 ml in the morning, 1 ml at night, only on areas where he wanted regrowth, like the crown and visible thinning patches, always on a dry scalp and without vigorous massage.
Most importantly, the coach pre‑empted the fear that derails many men: initial shedding. He calmly told Rohit that in the first few weeks, hair fall might increase slightly. This wasn’t damage; it meant Minoxidil had started working, pushing out weak, miniaturised strands to make way for stronger ones. “Jo bhi kamzor baal honge sirf wahi girenge,” he assured him, and emphasised that this phase would settle as the cycle synchronised.
Setting Him Up for Consistency, Not Perfection
Rohit confessed he hadn’t even downloaded the app yet. The coach didn’t scold him; instead, he made consistency feel simple. “Traya two by two routine mein believe karti hai,” he said - two minutes in the morning, two minutes at night.
He suggested practical hacks: keeping supplements next to his breakfast spot so he’d see them, parking the topical products near the mirror where he gets ready, and using the app’s “login & earn” feature to track usage and earn discounts for the next month’s kit. The kit itself was travel‑friendly, so work trips wouldn’t be an excuse to stop.
The message was clear: he didn’t need to overhaul his life, just anchor small habits to things he was already doing every day.
The Resolution: From Hopeless PRP to a Guided Journey
At the end of the call, Rohit’s questions had shifted. Early on, he asked, “Starting month mein kya lene ka hai, kaise hai product mein?” by the end he simply said, “Okay, okay, thanks,” in that relieved tone of someone who finally has a map, not just another bottle.
He now understood that:
- Crown‑level regrowth was realistic, especially with Minoxidil and consistent scalp care.
- Hairline regrowth was possible where baby hairs still existed, but the priority was to stop further receding.
- His next eight months were already structured: internal repair, scalp detox, then visible changes.
- Every product in his kit - from Health Tatva and Hair Ras to Hair Vitamin, Nasal Ghrit, Scalp Oil, Anti‑dandruff Shampoo and Minoxidil - had a clear purpose, not just a marketing claim.
- And most importantly, he wasn’t doing this alone; he could book calls with his coach anytime he hit a doubt or dip in motivation.
For a man who had already “tried PRP three times and then stopped,” this shift - from random experiments to a coherent, personalised hair treatment plan - was the real beginning of change.
